Nice shed - just what I needed
I needed some extra storage space for garden stuff and I chose this product to put behind my existing big shed. It has fit the bill for that purpose. I have had it in place for about a year and it is holding up well. It handles the TX heat just fine, but I don't know how well the vinyl sidewalls and roof would fair in the cold of the far northern climates. It came pretty well packaged and shipped in a timely manner. The instructions are pretty good. Just take your time and do everything in the order it is described and it will turn out fine. I chose to lay a 4X4 treated lumber foundation instead of a concrete pad since that was easiest for me. I also added 4x4 supports under the floor joist since they seemed to be a little thin for that purpose. I used 3/4" treated plywood for the floor. It ended up being nice and sturdy. I believe the instructions say to have two people to do the installation and I would second that. It's not because anything is particularly heavy, but rather, that the walls are pretty floppy while under construction and it would be nice to have help with keeping things in the right place. Of course, I didn't and was still successful, but I had to rig some supports to keep stuff in place. Also, pick a reasonably calm day to to the install since those floppy walls will want to dance otherwise. Once the installation was completed everything was good and solid. The only caveat is that head room is limited on this shed, but I knew that going in. I am 5'10" and have to duck a bit, but I bought it because I needed something that would be less visible and it is a compromise I am good with.
