Specifically designed as a underfloor tarp
As another reviewer mentioned, there is no bound edge on this tarp. No grommets, either. But this is really a tarp with a single purpose: to be used under a tent floor. So grommets would be superfluous. The 10 mil thick material seems substantial, yet not overly weighty. Apparently no edge binding is necessary with this material, as it doesn't seem likely to fray easily. I even e-mailed Kodiak regarding this, as Id like to cut it slightly smaller. They told me that I could do this without fear of the edge fraying afterwards. I'm only giving it 4 stars as Id prefer it to be about 6 inches smaller. The reason? As currently cut it comes to the very edge of the Kodiak 10x14, or even a little beyond. Water dripping down the sides of the tent will therefore land on the tarp, and then get between the top of the tarp and the bottom of the floor, forming puddles under the floor. I have reported this to Kodiak
