Goalsetter Basketball Hoops - Contender 54-inch Backboard Systems.

The Contender model from Goalsetter Signature Series is comparable to the All Star model. The main difference is the pole size. The All Star basketball system comes with a 5x5 square pole, whereas the Contender comes with a 4x4 square pole. Do you need the larger pole? A 5x5 pole provides greater stability and rigidity than a smaller pole. If you expect to have aggressive play on your basketball goal then you might consider the All Star system. Otherwise, the Contender is suitable in most every situation. We also carry all of the All Star Basketball System.
