This Kodiak Canvas Tent is the perfect tent whether your are camping with your family or with your hunting buddies. This rugged, all-season tent is well suited
for any occasion. Made with premium grade, Hydra-Shield™, 100% cotton duck canvas
(walls: 8.5 oz , roof: 10 oz). The tight weave and silicone finish make the
canvas watertight yet breathable, minimizing condensation and mugginess. Go
ahead and touch the inside walls during a downpour—this canvas will not wick
water. The Flex-Bow frame has tempered, spring steel rods that keep the tent
taut, and robust 1” steel tube poles that will hold up to fierce winds. The
floor material is a super-duty, puncture resistant, 16 oz vinyl with welded
seams that keeps water out. The main difference between this tent and the 6055
model is this one has 4 windows as compared to the 6055's two windows, for added
breathability and ventilation.
Easy, one-person set-up takes only a few
minutes after you have it staked out. The steep walls and 6’6” high ceiling
provide a roomy interior with stand-up, walk-around comfort. Two large doors
with top rated #10 YKK zippers give convenient access to front and back. Four
windows, and two vents allow ample air-flow. Windows and vents have no-see-um
screen mesh, keeping out the smallest pests and giving you added privacy. A
customizable gear loft, and organizer system offer plenty of places to stow
gear. A large awning provides shade and a covered entry. The handy large
storage bag means no cramming into an undersized bag. Hefty 12” steel stakes
included.

I ordered this tent April 9, received it April 11 and it has been used 18 nights since then. from Montana to So. Oregon to NW Oregon....from 17 degrees to 80 degrees, snow, rain, wind (Columbia river Gorge) and heat!!!!! Its as good as every other reviewer says it is!! Worth every dollar! As for complaints....Ill have to get back to on that!!!

I ordered this tent as a first time customer with Competitive Edge. Free shipping, free ground tarp - whats not to like. The shipping was very quick - they immediately shipped it and I had it in just a couple of days.
The tent is good looking and appears very sturdy. Ive set it up at home outside for practice and to season the canvas with water as they instruct. I hosed it completely down and not a drop was found inside.
Im pleased that the floor seems very heavy duty. I dont have to worry about taking off shoes or walking around gingerly or anything. The tent is very heavy duty. The zippers feel durable as well.
The included gear organizers / gear loft is great and will be very handy.
Time will tell (going out this weekend for the first time) but I think Im going to be happy for many years.

Kodiak brand tent arrived today and we are VERY pleased with it. The sturdy construction and attention to detail is superb, right down to the toggles that can be tightened to snug up the window fastenings... I have never seen a tent so well-appointed. This will be a much more pleasant and comfortable place to sleep than the cheap nylon job we started out with. In fact I would like to add that when we set it up to season it, the storms the nation is talking about rolled through here with wind gusts up to 43mph. The tent stood up to it like a champ. The awning does need to be rolled up in those conditions.

I love this tent. I have been a tent camper for more than 40 years, using a series of small lightweight pack tents for all that time. Now I have aged into needing something with more headroom and all around comfort and this tent fulfills those requirements very well. It is very roomy, well designed and constructed and so easy to erect that a single person can do it in under 5 minutes. I love the exterior steel pole suspension system. This is not a backpacking tent but it is an absolute delight for multiple people to camp in.

This is a well made tent, although it does take longer to set up than what the add states. The onle issue I have is with the overhang at the door puddles up with water, overhang seems to be not well thought out as the rest of the tent. In all this is still a good tent, we spent 2 days in the woods while raining and windy and it held up very well.
