On many Lifetime table listings you will notice that many have volume pricing available for purchases involving multiple products of the same SKU. This volume pricing reflects are lower costs in shipping the order to you for higher volumes of the same SKU. On other tables listings, you will notice that the original price (marked in black) is crossed out with a new price (marked in red) next to it. When their is a promotional, or sale, price, volume pricing on the listing becomes obsolete. This is due mostly to the fact that the volume price breaks you see on the listing are still above the promotional price. Thus, red priced items have no volume pricing. There are some relatively infrequent times where the volume price you would have paid at the full price is lower than the red-marked promotional price. If that is the case for your purchase, let us know and we will get the price discounted appropriately.

What types of discounts are additive to promotional pricing on Lifetime plastic tables?

As shown above, volume discounts do not affect the price of Lifetime tables when the table SKU is on a promotional price. That does not mean that that is the only discount available, however. Fold-in-Half Tables

These types of portable tables come in 4 foot, 6 foot, and 8 foot models. These types of Lifetime table allow for compact storage and easy transportation. Many customers that use this type of table are those needing a light-weight table that can fit in small areas to transport around. Customers like this include DJ’s, wedding receptionists, party planners, and home uses. These model numbers include 80174, 80175, 4428, and 24534.

Carrying Handles

Several tables have carrying handles that will assist in moving these tables around. These handles are on the table top edge. Some of these tables include the fold-in-half models from Lifetime, but others are simply adjustable tables or regular folding-leg tables. Model numbers that have carrying handles include 4428, 80161, 80160, 24534, 80174, and 80175.

Folding Picnic tables

Picnic tables are normally a very large, difficult-to-transport object; however, when you can fold the table flat, it becomes much easier. Lifetime folding chairs feature a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic seat and back. HDPE is easily cleaned with soap and water. The material is virtually stain-resistant. If soap and water does not get it cleaned up, you might also try a mild abrasive, like Soft Scrub. Thus, Lifetime chairs rarely need any additional work done on the seat and backs. The frame of the chair is made with poweder-coated steel. The powder coating helps resist rusting for indoor and outdoor uses. If the chair does get wet, drying the chair off is ideal before storage.

Some customers, among others, have reported back on their Lifetime Products item they purchased. They frequently advise us on the difficulty they experience when assembling their items. To be clear, most customers do not have any troubles with their items – a small minority do. Of that minority, the majority of those take issue with the assembly. We recently had one of our employees purchase one of the 22127 Lifetime round picnic tables and wanted to report back on the assembly experience. Please note that while you may not be purchasing a Lifetime picnic table, the point of this is instructive and should be applicable to any of Lifetime Products models.

Assembling the 22127 Lifetime Picnic Table

“I must say, to start out, that not any one step of the assembly was difficult or hard to understand. However, it did take my wife and me 3 hours to put the table together. Hopefully, our experience will help you slash your assembly time in half, or better. One thing that you should be aware of to start your assembly is that Lifetime frequently groups hardware parts (screws, nuts, bolts, etc.) by section of the assembly. This is to help you keep track of what you are doing and what you need next. So, on our 22127, for instance, the hardware was grouped by table frame assembly and bench assembly. Figuring this out before you start making the product should help cut time off your assembly. From there, like I mentioned previously, no one step was difficult to understand. However, when reading the instructions, you really need to do just that – READ THEM! As soon as you start assuming, based on the picture or parts needed for that step – what you need to do for that step, you are going to run into trouble. For instance, at the end of several steps in the 22127 assembly, Lifetime will have little boxes that say stuff like, ‘Warning: Do not do such-and-such thing until such-and-such step’ or ‘Important: Do such-and-such thing before proceeding with such-and-such thing’. In particular, one part of the table frame assembly had us attach a horizontal bar to the main framework of the table using a couple of screws. Sounds easy enough, right? So, I started attaching the bars like a I would anything with multiple screws, screw in each screw part way at a time until they are snug. However, as I approached it this way I found that one could start just fine, but the other was impossible to move to the point the other one had done. After nearly stripping the second screw to a point it could not be used, I noticed one of those little boxes on the instructions that said that I needed to put in one screw at a time. Upon completing the first screw, I was to unscrew it one full rotation and then put in the other screw. So, I did just that and almost like magic, the other screw went right in. Reading the entire step on the instructions before proceeding with assembly will save you tons of time. The instructions are parts are just fine, in my opinion. The only thing the person assembling the product needs to do is read them.”

For many of our customers, they do not just need tables or just need chairs. They often need both. Lifetime Products now combines several of their round tables and folding chairs into a packaged SKU. This package more than likely saves you money per product then if you have ordered them separately. One thing to watch out for, however, is when you are ordering bulk amounts of these packages. In some cases, a customer is better off ordering the Lifetime folding tables and Lifetime folding chairs separately than together.

Some of these packages available include packages of 72-inch round tables and 60-inch round tables. Packages that include 72-inch round tables have folding chairs included in groups of 10 Lifetime folding chairs per table and the 60-inch round tables have folding chairs in groups of 8 chairs per table. These groupings are done this way because 72-inch round tables can typically seat 10 adults comfortably; and, 60-inch round tables can typically seat 8 adults comfortably.

As we mentioned earlier, sometimes a customer is better off ordering their round folding tables and Lifetime folding chairs separately. This works out price wise because we generally get a better freight cost when shipping bulk packages of tables by themselves and bulk packages of folding chairs by themselves than shipping bulk table and chair packages together.
