The most common Lifetime chair today is their tradition, dome-backed chair. These chairs are easily identifiable because of their arched back that looks like the cross-section of a dome. The tubing was once round, but has since changed to an oval shape. The frame color has also changed from a gray color to a charcoal color. Frequently, these chairs are marketed as a “Commercial Grade” folding chair. These chairs will also carry a 10 year warranty. The original Lifetime chair of this design was only available in white. Today, these chairs can be found in white, almond, black, and putty colors. The next most common Lifetime chair is actually very comparable to the commercial grade chair.

This other, dome-backed folding chair is frequently marketed as a “light-duty” chair. Light duty, in this case, refers to a lighter-duty folding frame, which translates into a shorter warranty period: 2 years. This chair is infrequently found in stores. You are more likely to find this chair on the internet. This chair is also almost entirely indistinguishable from the commercial duty chair on initial comparison, so pay attention to the details of the product description. This chair is available in white only. Comparable to this chair was the now discontinued Accent model from Lifetime Products.

The Accent chair model was also a cheaper chair like the light-duty chair now. It had a smaller seat and back and a weaker folding frame. If you have this chair, Lifetime Products no longer supports the chair. It had a 2-year warranty period and has now been discontinued for 3 years. Lifetime used this model as a take-off point for their Contemporary chair model.

The contemporary chair model is immediately distinguished from the other chairs already mentioned by it square shape. The back is more square and the seat is more square. While the chair might still look like a watered-down version of the commercial grade chair already mentioned, the contemporary chair actually maintains the same structural strength and the commercial grade model, which is also reflected in the 10-year warranty. This chair is available on Almond only. Lastly, we deviate entirely from the traditional, 4-leg folding chair design for Lifetime Products loop-leg chair design.

When we say loop-leg, we mean just that; the legs loop together. The front and back legs are connected with a steel loop. Typically, these chairs are not found in retail store locations because of their unusual need. These types of chairs are available in white and almond colors.

Lifetime folding chairs feature a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic seat and back. HDPE is easily cleaned with soap and water. The material is virtually stain-resistant. If soap and water does not get it cleaned up, you might also try a mild abrasive, like Soft Scrub. Thus, Lifetime chairs rarely need any additional work done on the seat and backs. The frame of the chair is made with poweder-coated steel. The powder coating helps resist rusting for indoor and outdoor uses. If the chair does get wet, drying the chair off is ideal before storage.

For many of our customers, they do not just need tables or just need chairs. They often need both. Lifetime Products now combines several of their round tables and folding chairs into a packaged SKU. This package more than likely saves you money per product then if you have ordered them separately. One thing to watch out for, however, is when you are ordering bulk amounts of these packages. In some cases, a customer is better off ordering the Lifetime folding tables and Lifetime folding chairs separately than together.

Some of these packages available include packages of 72-inch round tables and 60-inch round tables. Packages that include 72-inch round tables have folding chairs included in groups of 10 Lifetime folding chairs per table and the 60-inch round tables have folding chairs in groups of 8 chairs per table. These groupings are done this way because 72-inch round tables can typically seat 10 adults comfortably; and, 60-inch round tables can typically seat 8 adults comfortably.

As we mentioned earlier, sometimes a customer is better off ordering their round folding tables and Lifetime folding chairs separately. This works out price wise because we generally get a better freight cost when shipping bulk packages of tables by themselves and bulk packages of folding chairs by themselves than shipping bulk table and chair packages together. For almost all models of Lifetime table and Lifetime chair, Lifetime offers different packaging configurations. For tables, those typically consit of single pack, a 4 pack, and a pallet load of the particular models. Pallet load quantities vary per model, but typically range in size from 10 pieces per pallet to 22 pieces per pallet. Due to the nature of online shopping and shipping costs for small packages, Lifetime Products does not offer a single pack of their chair models. If you do find a single pack online, the cost per chair is likely astronomicaly and is typically offered by a reseller that warehouses their own inventory. For everyone else, those who ship directly from Lifetime, they offer the chairs in a 4 pack and a pallet load. Once again, the pallet load varies on the model of chair, but typically includes 28-34 folding chairs. By thus structuring their product packaging, you get pricing discounts built in with higher volume purchases. Most likely, the pallet loads are less expensive in shipping or price per unit or both than the 4 pack, and the 4 pack is less expensive then the single pack.

Choice of colors and sizes of Lifetime Tables and Lifetime Chairs

For nearly ever model of Lifetime table and Lifetime folding chair, all are made in  both white and almond. White is by far the most popular of these colors.
