7B1454 Spalding The Beast 54-Inch Glass Portable Basketball Hoop

Oh boy, let me tell you about Spalding's The Beast basketball hoop. This thing is a beast, no pun intended! It's like having your own personal NBA court right in your backyard. I mean, you can't go wrong with a name like The Beast. You just know it's going to be something special. First of all, this hoop is built like a tank. It can handlRead more about review stating Truly earns its namee any dunk you throw at it, even if you're Shaq-sized. The adjustable height feature is a game-changer too. I mean, my seven-year-old nephew can dunk on it and then we can crank it up to NBA regulation height and I can still dunk on it too (if I jump on a trampoline first). It's also got a massive backboard, so you can practice your bank shots like you're Steph Curry. All in all, if you're looking for a hoop that's durable, versatile, and downright awesome, look no further than Spalding's The Beast. It's a slam dunk! Review Source: Manufacturer

Definitely a labor of love to get together; need 1-3 people depending on which step is being performed. Took about 6.5 hours total to assemble. The part with combining the top and bottom pole (Step 2) is easiest with 3 people (one on a ladder for leverage) and some sort of lubricant (We used WD-40 with the straw to get into the small openings betwRead more about review stating Worth the Workeen pieces). It really is worth it; once assembled and the base is filled it was ready to go and we’ve had multiple games of Horse so far and it’s a fantastic set-up!!! Review Source: Manufacturer

The quality of the Beast is unsurpassed. It is the highest quality mobile hoop you can buy. We would not change our purchase and would buy it again! That all being said the assembly is a major undertaking. We had 3 fit adults take nearly 4 hours to assemble this Beast.... This part of the process could be much improved or have the option to have aRead more about review stating The Beast is exactly that! qualified third-party come assemble for people. This is not for the faint of heart. The major assembly of the spine of the device took two adults lifting this 150 piece in the air and driving it into a piece of plywood on the drive way nearly 50x. This was a spectacle for the neighborhood as people drove by laughing. I have built 6 businesses and done 3 remodels. This was the hardest assembly of a purchased item hands down ever. Again the end product is worth it but all you have to do is go to YouTube to see people's great videos of putting this together which were very helpful and gave us confidence that we were doing it correctly. Good luck and make sure you have a great physical therapist to call afterwards :)Review Source: Manufacturer

I just purchased this, and wanted to say putting the two poles together took less than 5 minutes. I am not sure if the newer models are different, but I lined them up on ground. Then held them and dropped on a piece of wood over a concrete slab. Took about 10-15 good slams and it was set. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this hoop. You will be very happRead more about review stating Amazing hoopy. I built the entire thing by myself, but two people would be ideal for some of the steps. I put the backboard on while I had it on the saw horses still using the boxes and styrofoam to line things up. I then stood the entire assembly up. Having a socket adapter for your drill is a must. Also, some high quality wrenches because you will need those when tightening the bolts for the backboard (not enough room for a socket). Lastly, a nice set of vice grip plyers to hold the nut in place while tightening the bolts was extremely helpful. If you are prepared with the right tools this thing goes together easy.Review Source: Manufacturer

Wow this thing really is a Beast. It was quite a project to put together but I was able to do it myself! Pretty proud of that, it's no easy task especially those bolts that hold the pole into the base. Backboard bounce is exceptional for a portable hoop and the bounce is pretty true! Basketball hoop is perfect for a portable one very solid. I put it together myself but strongly suggest 2 or even 3 people to help for time sake. Took me a full day to assemble but it was worth it. Yes the 2 poles is the hardest part to put together I used wd40 and dish washing soap then dropped it on scrap wood probably for like an hour or 2 alonRead more about review stating 60inch pure Beaste.
