The 8-foot DuraMate vinyl shed is a perfect fit for most backyards and is designed to comply with common height regulations. This shed features spacious double doors and robust metal-reinforced walls, making it easy to hang shelves or garden tools. Foundation kits are recommended for easier and more accurate installation, ensuring a solid base. It is also fire retardant and much quieter in the rain than most metal storage sheds. The wall columns are reinforced with a solid metal structure, giving the vinyl shed a lot of strength and making it easy to hang shelves or garden tools inside. The DuraMate 8' x 8' vinyl shed boasts 305 cubic feet of room, with double doors wide enough for equipment to fit through and high enough for tall people. The DuraMate vinyl shed is wind tested up to 115 mph and it can support up to 900 pounds of snow on the roof!

ASSEMBLY MADE EASY

The assembly is simple, clean, safe and can be completed in four to five hours with two people. All parts are pre-cut, drilled and numbered for ease of assembly. All you need to provide is a level surface of either wood, or concrete, the size of the desired building. In addition, you will need a power drill, hammer, measuring tape, pliers and a ladder.

Packaging

This shed ships on one pallet in two boxes. It arrives as a base size of 8x6 and includes a second expansion kit to make it 8x8. The building is packaged in a heavy-duty cardboard box with plastic shrink-wrapped on a wood pallet. The packaging includes all components, hardware and an illustrated step-by-step instruction booklet. Ship common carrier required lift gate on residential delivery.

Don't forget the plywood!

Although this kit includes a foundation kit to go on the ground, most customers prefer to set plywood on top of the foundation frame to function as the shed floor. You'll need two sheets of 3/4" weather-proof marine-grade plywood per below.

Exactly As Ordered

the shed is perfect for my requirements - I have just about enough space to accommodate it and it holds everything I envisaged storing in it. It's location is fairly sheltered, so can't comment on how well it would handle high winds (although an anchoring kit is available if required). It has had some heavy downpours and the inside has remained bone dry. It took 2 men a good day to erect; the instructions are good but have to be followed VERY carefully - we managed to go wrong a couple of times which added to the build time, possibly by an hour, maybe not quite that long. It does have some restriction on available head height, so some care is needed entering and exiting the shed ( I am 5ft 8in - so not particularly tall). Very pleased overall, and would recommend. Nice Shed

This is a very nice shed. We had a friend put it together and it took him all day because there were so many pieces. We would have never been able to do it. We love the skylight and double doors (Posted originally on 8x6 size)

Seems nice, hard to assemble

Bought this shed two weeks ago, have it mostly assembled as of now, should be able to get the roof done today. The quality of the shed and the parts that make it up seem well made and fit together well.The drawback seems to be that it takes much more time than the "4-5 hours, two people" stated in the instructions. It is safe to say that I have easily exceeded 14 man hours, and may hit 24 before all is said and done.They also ship with Estes, and if you have a residential address, you must call them in advance to schedule the actual delivery after it gets to their distribution center.

Don't buy from this company

Never received the shed, waited two weeks and when we were finally notified of delivery, the trucking company said they would deliver between 8-12 am they never showed. They called at 2 pm and said they would be here in 30 minutes, never showed. I called the company they said they would be here in 30 minutes. I told employees if they weren't here by 6 pm to cancel order and refund money. No show I need my money back.

Competitive Edge Products, Inc Response: Freight company showed up just after the customer called in to complain about them not showing up. Sorry this one didn't work out. We have customer service reps available during all business hours to help resolve any concerns.

This particular shed ships in 3 boxes on a pallet. Sometimes the paperwork includes the pallet as its own separate piece. When you sign for the shipment it may include the pallet as a separate line item.

Fast Shipping: Orders for the Duramax 00314 generally leave the warehouse within 2-4 business days. They are usually delivered within 5-10 days with standard shipping. Call for more exact estimates.

Accurate Tracking: Tracking information is emailed to you after the order ships out.

Delivery Details: This product generally ships directly from the warehouse in Montebello, CA. This item generally ships via a curbside delivery through an LTL carrier (too big for UPS and FedEx). The customer must be present to sign for the order. The freight carrier is instructed to contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment.

Q: Is the color more beige or more ivory? Your site looks more beige, the duramax site shows some pictures where it looks beige, and a couple ones where it looks yellowish ivory like a Boston cream donuts custard. Are there any real photos of it not computer ones of it pasted onto a background? I would not want to buy it and have to return it simply based on the color about matching my house.

Q: Am looking for a 8 H x 8 W x 60 D?

A: I'm sorry, but I'm not sure exactly what you mean by 60 D? We have lots of different sheds, but out largest sheds would be the Duramax Imperial Metal Garages. We do have many Shed extension kits, but any shed extended to 60 Feet would be very unstable.

A: If you wish to extend the size of your shed, you can use the 04112 Duramate Extension Kit. These extension kits automatically include a foundation that fits with the shed foundation.

A: The doors are 61.3 high. For a 71 high door, you would need to order one of the vinyl garages.
