The Kodiak Canvas Stove Mat is helpful for protecting your tent floor from the heat and stray embers generated by a wood stove. Made from fire-resistant silicone-coated fiberglass, this mat shields your tent against some of the hot ember or coals that might fall out of your stove, allowing you to enjoy a safer and cozier camping experience. Its durable construction ensures longer use, even with high temperatures and repeated setups.
Ideal for winter camping or outdoor adventures, the mat is designed for easy placement under your stove. Measuring 36 x 54 inches, it provides ample coverage while being compact enough for easy storage and transportation. Whether you're a seasoned camper or new to tent stoves, this stove mat is a helpful solution for safer tent heating.
This Kodiak Canvas 1577 Stove Mat ships from Salt Lake City, Utah. It measures 36" x 54", weighs approximately 4 lbs., and is made from woven fiberglass fabric with a fire-resistant silicone coating to help shield a compatible tent floor from stove heat, stray embers, and occasional hot coals.
Place the mat flat beneath the stove before use and keep the entire stove footprint within the protected area. This mat is intended as an added heat and ember shield, not as a substitute for proper stove clearances, ventilation, safe stove operation, or supervision. No published maximum temperature rating is listed, so inspect the mat before each use and replace it if the coating or fiberglass becomes damaged. Keep the original packaging until the mat has been fully inspected.
