The tarp awning and pole set are simple super easy to set up and can go wherever you can stand the poles and stake the guy ropes. Keep the sun off the cooler and keep the rain off camp gear.

While spending time outdoors, few items are as essential as a quality tarp. The Super-6, a six-sided tarp provides significant advantages over square tarps. When used as a tent or canapé, the added tie points increase the stability exponentially. The hexagon shape offers more protective shelter along the sides. This tarp and pole set are ideal when you need a large, sturdy shelter, in a relatively light and compact package. Tall, 7.5 ft. poles provide stand up room underneath. The tarp is made with high-performance, Hydra-Shield, 100% cotton canvas that is watertight and breathable. Included are tarp, poles, stakes, guy ropes, and a convenient carry bag.

Great addition!

The Super 6 has been a great addition. It requires a little more work compared to the regular pop ups. We wanted something more durable than a nylon tarp to protect the top of the tent. Also purchased two additional tart poles to prop up the porch area. Used it for the 1st time during a recent trip to Joshua Tree with our 10x10vx . It held up well with the heat and wind. The tent was cooler and the extra darkness allowed us extra time to sleep in. Recently received our 2 person vx and will make sure to bring the Super 6 since it doesn’t have a built in canopy. Happy we made the purchase and looking forward to using it more this year.

Bullet Proof

Best tarp I've ever owned. Held up in super strong winds, all grommets stayed intact, and it allowed us to still be near the fire and it's warmth even in the downpour. The fabric is 100% waterproof which is super relieving, and even close to a fire there were no issues with burn through. Highly recommend this for anyone considering a heavy duty tarp.

Kodiak Canvas for the WIN-ter

I paired this with my Kodiak 6086 2 person(flexbow) for the best setup by campfire at night with sunshade by day. Rain or shine or snow or wind....all of it passed the 3 day weekend. I also own the Swag and 10x10 VX. No quality complaints from me.

Excellently made product

It's hard to review this item since we haven't used it yet, but all the materials are high quality as we expect from Kodiak. We already have a large tent we love and have rain-tested successfully.

Worth the wait

I was on a waiting list for when this tarp came back in stock, and it was worth the wait! I used it with my hammock setup on my camping trip, as rain was expected off/on, and my hammock tarp wanted to be a kite with the wind, so it was a perfect time to try out my Super 6! Q: I am curious, would this work to set up over a 10x14 Kodiak tent to provide some coverage and be able to withstand some weather? I am trying to find solutions to provide some coverage from UV with my Kodiak? Thank You

A: It's 7.5' at the peak, but the sides would be too low to allow a tent bigger than the 2 man to easily fit under it. This is probably more ideal to set up with a table under it to provide a nice covered area for eating and activities etc.

A: I was looking for a solution to the same problem. Found a "Storm fly" produced by Springbar tents. It fits my Kodiak Canvas 10x10 Flexbow tent perfectly. I wish Kodiak Canvas would offer a similar product.

A: A dead man anchor is a buried object like a log, rock, or pack. You anchor a rope to that object when you are camping in snow or soft sand to keep the installation stable.
