Do I have used the foundation kit?
Please see this DuraMax response below:
If the customer does not want to use the provided foundation kit, they can lay
all the base channels down that hold up the walls. They would need to anchor each
channel to the cement with anchor screws or bolts. These channels do not connect
to each other so they need to be anchored down so they don't move. There are pre
drilled holes on these channels that you would normally use to screw to the foundation,
but you would now use them for the anchor screws or bolts.
Once the base channels are square, level, and are anchored down the customer
can proceed with putting up the walls and columns and then the rest of the shed.
The customer would want to also caulk/silicon the seam where the channels meet the
cement along the inside and outside to prevent water from leaking in under the channels.
The 04212 extension kit is not compatible with this shed.
