My son loves his basketball

My son loves his basketball hoop. Very strong and made very well. We live in a windy area and it holds very well. It awesome that you can add water and sand at the same time for stability. Easy to move as well. Overall a great portable hoop. The instructions for building could be a bit more clear and label better. That would be my only complain. Necessary Addition To Your Shed... In Canada

I bought the 60211U (8x10) from Costco. I built it with little problem and then found out about this kit. I ordered the kit and it came promptly with all hardware needed (and a few extra screws). It was easy enough to install, but I wish I knew of the kit before I bought/assembled the shed. The bar across the top would have been much easier to install before putting the roof trusses up. The supports on the side really can't be installed until you have your roof on and tighten everything up. A good fast drill can make short work of ALL the self tapping screws that need to be put it. Definitely a must buy for your shed if you get decent amounts of snow (or wet spring snow). Originally posted on 8 ft. Shed Snow Load Kit J G Mac 98

Extra Bracing Is A Good Idea

The bracing that comes with the shed seems sturdy enough, but the added security of extra bracing is worth it. It looks really strong now. Internal Bracing Installed

I Will Attest To The Value Of This Kit!

I have a lifetime shed and last winter the roof collapsed. There was maybe two or three feet of snow load on it. We live in Idaho so snow load can be a problem. I repaired the roof and installed a snow load kit. Record snow fall this year and the roof held! This is a must have item for anybody in northern states! Originally posted on 8 ft. Design Makes Good Sense

Bought the 8 X 7. 5 storage unit and additionally the snow supports. Followed shed instructions and installed snow supports at correct time. READ INSTRUCTIONS for both and you make good decisions. Took two easy days by myself and I am very satisfied with results. Expect good usage for many years.

Sturdy, Easy To Assemble A+++

I bought this to replace an old, rusted shed for the new rotor-tiller that I bought. After building a wood foundation as the slabs weren't level a friend and I got it put together in a few hours. The directions were easy to read and understand. I bought a strengthening kit to give it more support for heavy winter snows. I also bought an extra shelf which adds for stability as it attaches to each side. It has a window and light can shine down from the pitch and the doors have windows. Plenty of light

Good Feature But Not Well Advertised

I bought the 60001 shed and the assembly instructions caution against allowing more than 6 inches of snow on the roof to avoid a collapse. However the instructions do NOT tell you that a Snow Load Kit is available. I only learned about it by reading online comments. Costco and Lowe's sell the sheds in Canada but neither carries the snow kit. Couldn't find it anywhere online in Canada either. I ordered it in the US and had it shipped to a border pick-up facility. Strange for a country that gets a lot of snow. Response From Lifetime: We appreciate your feedback regarding the snow load kit for retailers in Canada as an offering with their Lifetime Storage Sheds. We will work with our contacts at each retailer to see if this is something that they would like to consider.

Q: I have an 8x12 lifetime shed with the two doors on the 8 feet plus one window the snow made my roof collapse the trusses are all bent. I would like to know if the 60125 model is the Wright trusses for my shed and if everything is there in this package example three trusses included in the 104:22 or if I need to purchase something else to repair my shed

A: Lifetime requires that all parts requests go through their parts department. That way their expert customer service team can make sure they get you the exact parts you need. Again, the quickest way to receive a replacement part that was damaged/defective/missing is by contacting the number on the front of the owner's manual - Lifetime's parts department where they will be able to assist you with this. Please make sure you have your 7 digit product ID also found on the front of the instruction manual. If you don't have the product ID you can still get the parts, they just may not be able to verify your warranty.
