When conditions turn colder, you have the option to mount a heater (not included) and tuck the power cord into the wall channel and through the floor port for a simple and unobtrusive installation. The hinged roof has two gas-springs so it stays open for cleaning, but won’t slam shut on fingers or paws. The double hand-latch release mechanism ensures the roof won’t open due to wind or prying paws. The Lifetime Deluxe Dog House is constructed of durable High-density Polyethylene (HDPE) which is UV-protected and impact-resistant. The Rough Cut™ texture has the natural look and feel of wood without the maintenance of painting or staining so it can be an attractive addition to any yard or home. Lifetime Outdoor Dog House - This is a resin dog house suitable for most medium to large dog breeds. It includes a removable partition wall with a door opening to segment the interior space. The doggy door openings have chew-resistant steel frames and the exterior door includes a weighted vinyl door flap. The dog house has an attached roof with steel-reinforcement, two spring-hinges and a double hand-latch mechanism for interior access. Two adjustable side vents allow for interior lighting and airflow. The dog house has a raised base and channel system to assist with water drainage. The exterior walls feature a horizontal wood plank design with Rough Cut™ woodgrain texture. A heater mount bracket accessory is included (Heater Not Included) with a wall mounting location and an integrated cord management port. Constructed of dual-wall, High-density Polyethylene (HDPE).
