Great tent! Setup is fast once you get the hang of it. Took us some time initially to figure out that the door pole sits a foot back from the door, not right in front. Very water resistant, especially after soaking it and letting dry in the sun as instructed. Water didn't even come in at all when I hosed it down to soak it - you really have to hit it hard with water or the canvas repels the water. Stitching looks solid and durable.My husband and I can sleep side by side, but it gets a little cramped toward the wall side so I think we might invest in a couple individual cots. Our huge dog has room to sprawl and we can comfortably fit our bags, food, and a couple mini folding chairs indoors. Did a lot of research to find a good tent and I'm really pleased with it and feel it will last a long time as long as we take care of it and dry it out completely when not in use. Tent has performed well in the New Mexico desert environment. Stands up well to high winds and sand. Cozy warm in the winter. Extremely easy to set up. Huge space inside. Sturdy material and construction. Stakes are robust. Keeps the rain out. Keeps the wind out. Best tent I've ever had. I use it to camp for a week at a time at least 4 times a year. Heavy, heavy heavy duty! I didn't keep it b'cuz of the weight. I don't have help setting up so...it's just too much. If u r very strong or two people, this is your tent!!! So much room inside! Simple to set up, really sturdy floor! I left a sprinkler on this for 3 hours on high. No leaks! This company, White Duck, is serious about quality! I have 2 of their tarps. Love their strength and quality. You can't go wrong w this tent! I bought the 16 so...it's BIG! Some camping sites will b 2 small for the footprint of this size! What a great Tent. We just got our tent, seasoned it and took it from Washington to Minnesota for a camping trip. The tent set up easy and pretty quickly. During our camping trip it poured rain for about 5 hours and the tent had zero leaks and was a pleasure to get into and out of the rain. A bit of advice, When setting up your tent don't pull the tent bottom tight and stake it out. Unfold the tent and stake it out the way it is on the ground, don't pull on the elastic stake rings or the tent bottom will be to tight and you will have a hard time getting the tent poles in the tent, Also follow the tent seams when setting your guy lines, it helps a bunch if you have the guy lines align with the tent seams. Anyhow what a great tent, I have it set up in my yard right now to sleep in when I want to. Great product. I would buy it again. Originally Posted on White Duck Outdoors
