Huffy 8040SP Pole Pad - 1 1/2 inch Thick Basketball Accessories.

Help protect players against impact into the basketball pole when playing with this Huffy Sports basketball pole pad. This pad also provides a nice look to complete your system. The pad measures 1 1/2 inches thick. It attaches using straps around the back of the pole. This pole pad will fit most poles (3 in. round to 4 in. square).

Quality product

Well made and should keep the kids from getting hurt if they happen to run into the pole. At this price point, it is better than I expected The kids like it because of the color and the logo printed on it.

Worry no more!

My 2-year-old grandson needed protection against hurting himself on the poles in the basement family room. He plays basketball indoors when he can't go outside - these pads let all of us relax and not worry about him running or falling into the poles. They are and look well-made, and the NBA logo makes [them] look "professional". I didn't give 5 stars because 1) I wish they came in a larger size - we needed 2 for each square pole (8"x8"), and 2) we covered the exposed Velcro fasteners with black duct tape (my S.I.L.s idea). But well worth every penny to protect my grandson and his friends

A: This pad is for outdoor use, yes. It also works on a 4" pole as advertised.
