Durable And Fun

We have 2 of these Lotus's and they are very durable and surprisingly stable for the type of boat. We recently needed a replacement seat and the service when ordering the part was very good.

Love The Kayak And The Customer Service!

I received this kayak three years ago as a gift and I have had so much fun with it! It is incredibly stable (my grandchildren climb off and on it with me and it barely rocks) tracks nicely on our lake and has all the features I wanted for flat water. The customer service from Lifetime has been exemplary. I have only had two issues in three years - the front handle broke and the drain plug tether broke resulting in the loss of the drain plug. Both times it was easy to contact Lifetime and they quickly sent me replacements and their agents were very pleasant. I also purchased Lifetime children's kayaks for my grandchildren from which they have received many hours of entertainment.

Great Value, Great Fun.

I bought 2 kayaks. They work great in the water. I would suggest better grips for carrying. It is small enough for 1 person to carry however there are no good grips in the mold so it makes it difficult for 1 person to carry. It would also be nice if the paddles snapped into the mold. We have to carry them quit a distance to get to the water and these simple modification to the shape of the kayak would make carry a lot easier

Love 'em

Our neighbors have this Kayak and we have the larger 10 foot Kayak so we often borrow each others but we have a lot of family wanting to go out on the lake. This Kayak is really nice and it is actually a lot faster than my 10 footer. The 8 foot size makes it very portable and the blue color doesn't stand out like a sore thumb, but still looks sporty.

Great Beginner Kayak!

I purchased two of these. They are light weight and easy to handle and super stable. Great for beginners and children . If you're looking for speed this is not the kayak for you : )

Good Creeking Kayak

Bought 2 last year for creek paddling. The boat is very stable and handles in the creek well. Also works well for fooling around on still water ponds and lakes. Do not recommend for river paddling because it is hard to keep it on course. Had to modify the VERY HARD seat by adding a butt pad and a roll to support the small of my back. PROBLEM: The little tiny seat buckles come apart VERY EASILY! . . . and they SINK! Last trip a EXTREMELY HARD to paddle without that part!

This two-pack of blue Lifetime Lotus 8' sit-on-top kayaks ships directly from Lifetime Products in Clearfield, Utah, using scheduled curbside freight delivery.

Shipping Timeframe Orders generally leave the warehouse the next business day. Processing may take 5–7 business days during periods of higher demand, so contact customer service for the most current estimate.

Tracking Information Tracking information is automatically emailed after the order ships. The freight carrier will contact you before delivery to arrange an appointment, so provide a working daytime phone number.

LTL Curbside Delivery These two 8' kayaks are too large for standard UPS or FedEx parcel service and ship by LTL freight. Delivery is curbside only and does not include placement inside a garage, home, or storage area.

Unloading and Inspection The carrier will normally unload the shipment using a liftgate. Inspect both kayaks and all packaging before signing, and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt. Check both hulls, adjustable backrests, paddles, paddle cradles, tankwell storage areas, bungee lacing, handles, and other included components before discarding the packaging.
