Lifetime Spitfire™ 9 Kayak – The 9 ft. kayak has a 350 lb. weight capacity and comes in glacier blue. This model is a sit-on-top (SOT) kayak and comes with a padded backrest and bottom pad, self-bailing scupper holes, rear tankwell with bungee, bow storage area with bungee cords, paddle keeper, luggage handles on the bow and stern, an 8 in. locking hatch, and molded-in footwells and side carry handles. Blow-molded with a 5-year limited warranty on hull.

Fantastic Fun

Love It!

It's an acceptable kayak, however two things are really annoying: 1. side handles are totally unusable, and it's inconvenient for a single person to carry the kayak. 2. the kayak feels more heavy than my other longer kayak that's the same price level, Pelican Bandit NXT 100 Kayak.

Fast Shipping: Orders for the "90248" generally leave the warehouse the next business day, but can take 5-7 days depending on current demand. Contact us to check current shipping and handling timeframes.
Accurate Tracking: Tracking information is automatically emailed to you just as soon as the order ships out.
Delivery Details: This product ships directly from Lifetime Products in Clearfield, UT. Delivery of this product is via a curbside delivery through an LTL carrier (too big for UPS and FedEx). The customer may be required to be present to sign for the order. The freight carrier is instructed to contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment. The carrier will unload the product by means of a lift gate. In some cases items may be too large to fit on the lift gate and may require assistance from the customer helping unload box-by-box (takes only a few minutes).
Signing for the Package: When signing for the delivery it is important to note any damage. Damage is extremely rare. We package these to travel both domestically and internationally. However, sometimes the packaging may be slightly damaged, but you may not be sure whether something inside is damaged. Q: How is the backrest?

A: If you are like most people the backrest is an absolute must. It is the difference between relaxing and tension, between an enjoyable kayaking experience and enduring the day. The backrest are phenomenal area there adjustable with the straps in the attached directly to the kayak held on by metal loops attached to the kayak with metal rivets or screws. Having a backrest that is comfortable like this one allows you to enjoy hours on the lake. Of course, if you are like me you will still need to stand up from time to time and stretch the limbs and get the blood flowing to enjoy more time on the water. The backrest is especially helpful if you are fishing. You obviously use a lot of your arms and shoulders when casting and reeling in and leaning back slightly the backrest can handle all of that just fine. The backrest is not cheaply made. Fortunately, it is included in the purchase. It is made of high-quality material and helps provide an enjoyable kayaking experience maintaining decent posture and back support. In addition to the backrest there is a padded seat-they go hand-in-hand. You aren't sitting simply on a plastic surface. Our goal is to provide the best kayaking experience.
