The Mizerak Dakota 8' Slate Billiard Table is a heavy-duty table that offers ultimate durability and sleek styling to complement any game room. The table features reinforced pedestal legs with hammer-toned leg levelers to keep your playing surface level, 3 5/8" laminate top rails with full profile K66 nose rubber for uniform rebound and consistent play, and metal frame rails. The Dakota offers rail integrated pockets and an internal ball return system. You have everything you need to start playing with two included cues, a set of billiard balls, triangle, brush, and two pieces of chalk.

Surface	Medium-density fiberboard consists of intensely compressed wood fibers mixed with resin and wax. The end product has a smooth, but rigid panel finish with a hard shell.	Slatron is a man-made product constructed from resin-reinforced wood fibers. Slatron has a glass-smooth playing surface 20 times more dense than MDF particleboard. Both products are 3/4" thick and cut identically.	A slate bed is a piece of rock slate, up to an inch thick, originally extracted from the earth in a slate mine. The rock is then machined and cut into shape before being mechanically honed to create a perfectly flat surface. It is then fixed into the cabinet of the table and covered with a cloth.

Some parts were damaged in shipment. I was able to repair some and had to refabricate others. The slate was perfect, which is the most important component. I am overall pleased with the purchase and after taking extra time and precision with building it, this table plays beautifully and looks nice as well.

Delivery Details: This product ships directly from the factory in Evansville, IN. Delivery of this product is via a curbside delivery through an LTL carrier (too big for UPS and FedEx). The customer may be required to be present to sign for the order. The freight carrier is instructed to contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment. The carrier will unload the product by means of a lift gate. In some cases items may be too large to fit on the lift gate and may require assistance from the customer helping unload box-by-box (takes only a few minutes).
Signing for the Package: When signing for the delivery it is important to note any damage. Damage is extremely rare. We package these to travel both domestically and internationally. However, sometimes the packaging may be slightly damaged, but you may not be sure whether something inside is damaged. In such a case it is a good idea to sign for it and have the driver note it as such. You can still accept delivery. Call or email us with any questions.

A: No, we don't carry this size in 9-Foot. The only available options are either slattron/slate at 8 Ft.

Q: I was able to place a "backordered" order for this table. It says shipping will resume on 5/20/20. Does that mean it's back in stock and you'll soon fulfill orders being placed now?

A: Due to the size of these items, they ship ltl (on a semi trailer) from Indiana. Shipping to Texas would probably take about 3-4 business days after it ships.. The shipping carrier will call you to set up an appointment for a curbside delivery.
