Buying a full-sized slate pool table is a big investment. The shipping process is set up to ensure your table arrives safely and you know exactly what to do when it gets there.
Since this is a slate billiard table, the shipment comes in several boxes designed to be moved by two or three adults. Most customers find it easiest to open the shipment at the curb and move the individual pieces, including the 3-piece slate top, frame rails, pedestal legs, cues, billiard balls, triangle, brush, and chalk, into the house one at a time. This helps make setup easier without moving the full packaged shipment at once!
Delivery Details: This product ships directly from the factory in Evansville, IN via an LTL carrier for curbside delivery. The customer may be required to be present to sign for the delivery. The freight carrier is instructed to contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment. The carrier will unload the product by means of a lift gate. In some cases items may be too large to fit on the lift gate and may require assistance from the customer helping unload box-by-box.Signing for the Package: When signing for the delivery it is important to note any damage. Damage is extremely rare. We package these to travel both domestically and internationally. However, sometimes the packaging may be slightly damaged, but you may not be sure whether something inside is damaged. In such a case it is a good idea to sign for it and have the driver note it as such. You can still accept delivery. Call or email us with any questions.
