Shipping Your Duramax YardMate Plus 5x8 Shed: What to Expect

The Duramax 35825 YardMate Plus is a 5 ft. x 8 ft. vinyl storage shed with adobe wall panels, anthracite doors and roof, steel-reinforced wall columns, dual front ventilation, wide double doors, and a complete molded floor. It provides approximately 234.4 cubic feet of storage space and arrives unassembled in four boxes secured to one pallet.

Shipping Timeframe In-stock orders generally leave the Montebello, California warehouse within 2–4 business days. Standard delivery typically takes an additional 5–10 business days, depending on the destination, freight-carrier schedule, and delivery appointment availability.

Tracking Information Tracking information is emailed after the order ships. The freight carrier will contact you before delivery to arrange an appointment. The shipment includes four boxes on one pallet, and the delivery paperwork may list the pallet as a separate piece. If separate tracking numbers are provided, monitor each shipment.

Curbside Freight Delivery This shed ships through an LTL freight carrier because the packaged shipment is too large for standard UPS or FedEx parcel service. Delivery is curbside, and an adult must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment. The carrier will unload the pallet at the curb but is not responsible for moving it up a driveway, into a garage, or to the assembly area.

Delivery and Inspection Inspect the pallet and all four cartons before signing. Check for punctures, crushed corners, torn wrapping, broken bands, exposed vinyl panels, bent steel columns, molded-floor damage, or damage around the roof and double doors. Note all visible or suspected damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves. Before assembly, inventory the wall and roof panels, molded floor sections, reinforced columns, ventilation parts, double doors, handles, fasteners, and any selected shelf or padlock accessories.

Pro-Tip for YardMate Plus Delivery:

Prepare a firm, flat, completely level installation area before delivery and arrange for sufficient help to move the four cartons from the curb. Confirm the approximately 98.4" x 67.3" exterior footprint, 82.6" overall height, and 52.76" x 70.84" double-door opening before selecting the installation area. The molded floor is included, but it still requires proper support beneath it. Keep the pallet, cartons, and all packing materials until every component has been inspected and the shed has been fully assembled.

* Before assembly please do a full inventory opening each box to ensure everything is intact. If anything is damaged, defective, or missing please report it immediately and do not assemble until all parts are intact.

Q: I bought this shed three years ago and am happy with how it is holding up. I did have the door blow open during a bad windstorm and damaged the right door. Can I purchase just the door?
