Great Product

Installed this today and it went great very straight forward. Just one item was missing from the install booklet (you bend the angle pieces to the shape to fit the holes on the backboard. It wasn't in this book. But it was written on our Lifetime backboard book so we figured it out.

Backboard Looks Great But Have Not Used It As Of This Posting Because There Were Two Brackets Missing From The Mounting Kit.

The back board will be installed next week when the hanger brackets arrive.

Good product.

Solid support system. We mounted on a pole. We are very happy with product...it is good and solid!Instructions a bit complicated. I finally just relied on photos to get it right, and larger photos would have helped. We assembled mounting bracket and backboard and then put it all on pole. Large "HK" bolt and nut, at point where they are used in assembly, caused bracket to begin to deform slightly (yes, I usually over tighten...) so I added 1/2" copper pipe ( 1 for each bolt) cut to correct length to act as a spacer to resist this deformation. Worked great and I got to over tighten! Because product can be assembled in different configurations for different mount types you will have some pieces left over.

A: This bracket will not mount to a square pole, but model number 316 does work with the square pole. We search our website for 316 and you will find it. It works with a 4" square pole.

A: Please allow about 1-2 weeks to ship out due to high demand. Regarding the 90100, Those are manufactured on a frequent basis. The next couple batches have already been pre-ordered, so if you order now yours should ship with the batch after that. If you order now yours should ship within 3-4 weeks. If you wait to order, then it will ship approximately 3-4 weeks from when you do order. once it ships it typically takes 3-7 business days to receive depending on your location. the 9594 should work with any of our lifetime backboard and rim combos.

Q: WILL THIS BRACKET WORK ON A 4" PIPE POLE? ( 4 1/2" DIAMETER) WHAT PARTS DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE TO MAKE IT WORK?

A: This will only work on a 3.5" round pole or flat wall for a roof. As far as poles go it is designed specifically for 3.5" round pole. Sometimes customers can make it work by purchasing saddled brackets and u-bolts from a local hardware or fencing company. If you are putting it on a pole there is something to consider. The pole must be 10 1/2 feet out of the ground in order for you to use this bracket and also keep your rim at 10 feet high.

A: That works fine as long as the plate you have is 16" W x 20" L or larger. You can simply use the wall mount option in the instructions.

A: The 9594 and 1044 require a wall width of 16" wide by 20" vertical. If you have that space, then these brackets should mount to the wall.

Q: What do I need to use this bracket?

A: The 9594 mounting bracket can attach to a wall, pole, or roof top. To get your rim to a regulation-height level, you need at least 10.5 feet above the ground to where you mount this bracket. If attaching this bracket to an existing pole, the pole needs to be a 3.5 inches in diameter. If attaching this bracket to a wall or roof, the lag bolts that go into the wall or roof are not included. You will need to go to a local hardware store and get the appropriate lag bolts for whatever material your are mounting this bracket to.
