The steel backboard weighs a 20 lbs. more than its glass counterpart, and about 70 pounds more than an acrylic backboard. A steel backboard provides a superior rebound when compared to acrylic, comparable to the rebound of a glass backboard, while giving you warranty coverage from Goalsetter for the lifetime of your system. The steel backboard goal is great for schools and churches where the system would be used frequently.
