Purchasing Guide

1. Is the Hathaway Bristol a good choice for families who want both pool and table tennis?
Yes. The Bristol combines a 7-foot pool table with a table tennis conversion top, giving your family two popular game-room activities without requiring space for two separate tables. When you're ready to switch games, simply place the table tennis top over the billiards playing surface and set up the included net and posts. Accessories for both games are included, making the Bristol a convenient all-in-one option for family game rooms, recreation rooms, and finished basements.

2. What kind of billiards experience does the Bristol provide?
The Bristol is designed primarily for family and recreational billiards. Its engineered-wood playing surface provides a practical alternative to heavier and more expensive slate, while the blended felt and K-66 gum-rubber cushions are designed to provide smooth ball movement and consistent rebounds. Independent leg levelers allow you to fine-tune the table after setup for a more even playing surface. This makes the Bristol a good choice for recreational players who want a substantial dedicated pool table along with the added versatility of table tennis.

3. Is the 7-foot Bristol a good fit for a finished game room or living space?
The Bristol's 7-foot size provides plenty of room for enjoyable billiards while requiring less floor space than a traditional 8-foot table. Its dark cabinet, green playing surface, decorative trim, and furniture-style legs also give it a more finished appearance than many basic recreational game tables. Before ordering, measure for both the table and additional cueing space around all four sides so players can comfortably take shots near the rails. For buyers who want a game table that provides two activities while still looking appropriate in a finished room, the Bristol offers a useful balance of size, versatility, and traditional billiards styling.
