Purchasing Guide

1. Is the Hathaway Fairmont a good choice if I don't have space for a permanent pool table?
Yes. The Fairmont is specifically designed for buyers who want a real recreational pool table without permanently dedicating a room to it. The table measures 76 inches long x 43.25 inches wide x 32 inches high, and its durable steel legs fold inward toward the center so the table can be stored flat when not in use. A rip-resistant nylon carrying and storage bag is also included, making the Fairmont a practical option for apartments, multipurpose rooms, smaller game rooms, or homes where you occasionally need to reclaim the floor space.

2. What kind of playing experience can I expect from a portable 6-foot pool table?
The Fairmont is designed for recreational family play while providing several features found on larger dedicated pool tables. Its 66-inch x 33-inch playing surface is covered with a polyester and wool-blend felt, while L-shaped cushions provide consistent ball rebound and inlaid sights help players line up their shots. The compact 6-foot size and included 48-inch cues make the table approachable for kids and beginners while still providing plenty of fun for adults. Adjustable leg levelers also help create a more even playing surface after the table is set up.

3. How difficult is the Fairmont to set up, move, and store?
The Fairmont arrives fully assembled, so there is no complicated table assembly required before you can play. Simply unfold the steel legs, position the table, and use the built-in levelers as needed. The table weighs approximately 115.5 lbs., so although it is portable, most buyers will want another person to help when moving or storing it. The table itself does not fold in half; instead, both sets of legs fold toward the center so the table can lie flat for storage. Two 48-inch cues, billiard balls, chalk, a table brush, racking triangle, and carrying bag are all included.
