Purchasing Guide

1. Is the Hathaway Silverstreak a good air hockey table for a family game room?
Yes. The Silverstreak's 6-foot size provides a substantial air hockey playing area while remaining easier to fit into a home game room than many larger arcade-style tables. At 72 inches long x 36.5 inches wide x 30.5 inches high, it works well in family rooms, finished basements, recreation rooms, and other entertainment spaces. Kids can enjoy the hockey-themed playing surface and fast-paced action, while the 6-foot size provides enough room for adults to join in for competitive family games.

2. How does the Silverstreak create fast, smooth puck movement?
The Silverstreak pairs a scratch-resistant playing surface with a high-output blower designed to provide a steady cushion of air for fast gameplay. Air is distributed through approximately 2,160 holes across the playing surface, helping the puck glide smoothly and consistently from end to end. The streamlined support base adds stability during active games, while integrated leg levelers allow you to make adjustments after setup for a flatter, more even playing surface.

3. What should I consider when choosing the Silverstreak for my game room?
The Silverstreak is a dedicated air hockey table rather than a multi-game model, making it a good choice for families who want air hockey to be one of the main attractions in their game room. Its silver and black finish gives it a modern appearance, and the table weighs approximately 86 lbs., making it less cumbersome than many larger air hockey tables. Four 3.75-inch strikers and four 2.5-inch pucks are included, allowing multiple accessories to stay on hand for family tournaments and replacement during play.

Received 1st table with damage to the tabletop in shipping. A second table was shipped with damage on the side of the table. Packaging or method of shipping leaves much to be desired. The table is functional and time will tell how well it holds up with use.
