Kodiak Canvas 1689 9x8 Cover Top Accessory for Flex Bow Tents

Used for nearly a week but it was great weather. Was hoping to see how it did in some rain, but I have no reason to believe this cover will not shed the rain like a champ. It certainly kept the tent cool in tandem with the Vestibule. I had read other reviews about difficulty to put on, but Kodiak must have made an improvement to one side of the cover before I bought because it was super easy and it came with instructions. I also watched some YouTube videos before I purchased. I do not regret the purchase. I am still learning how to fold it best after use though and it is stiff. Review Source: Kodiak Canvas

This rainfly fits nice and tight. Goes on quick. It's going to keep the top clean. Big plus is that it give you some extra shade inside of the tent on hot sunny days. Review Source: Kodiak Canvas

Ordered a fly for my 10x10, tried to put it on at hunting camp and was greatly disappointed wouldn't fit!! when I got home called Kodiak and they sent a set of instructions. hey, it didn't have pictures but after following the instructions, and a light grip on the flex rods , we got a fly that fits like a glove!! The topper for the 8.5 x 6 tent, I have not had the opportunity to use yet. However, I have the 10 x 10 tent and have used the topper for it. Works as advertised, once you play with it?. As others have indicated it is difficult to attach? Prior to installing the topper I used a garden hose and wetted the canvas when I set up the tent at home, and it gave me a better chance to stretch the canvas during installation well before taking the tent out camping/hunting...GOOD LUCK!Review Source: Kodiak Canvas

It is a great addition and I am happy it was made. I wish to second other reviewers that mentioned it is difficult to install. A how to video would be helpful to get an idea of how the designers envisioned it be installed. The positives are easier tear down as bird doo and other things of nature fall on the cover rather than the tent. It makes it a little darker on the inside and helps when it rains. Good product.
