Ground Tarp as part of our kit

I have always used a ground tarp with every tent I have ever owned, and am pleased that Kodiak offers this as an available option to add to our camp kit.

I bought the extra ground tarp for the basic tent. It looks like it will do the job keeping out the dampness and provide another layer of insulation on the floor. I definitely recommend the getting the extra tarp if your on the fence about getting one. This one is heavy duty and will do the trick.

Q: Is this ground tarp fabricated from simple "poly" tarp material, or is it coated with urethane like the Kodiak Canvas tent floor?

A: This is just the regular tarp material, however we do offer the Kodiak Floor Liners which are the same material as the floor.

Q: Does this fit a 10x10?

A: Yes, it does fit a 10' x 10' tent. The dimensions are nominal and it can be off by about 2% to 3% in size. In other words, it is not designed to be a perfect fit, but a nominal fit. Feel free to contact us with any other questions.

Q: What is the best way to go about using this?

A: These are designed to go underneath the tent, but some people will put it inside the tent if they are in an unusually dirty area so they do not have to sweep it out when it's time to clean up camp.
