Non-Utah customer in Idaho, Wyoming, Arizona, Colorado.  In most cases,it is actually cheaper for you if we ship the tent to you rather than pick it up. Here's why. When you pick up within Utah we have to collect sales tax. If we ship it to you outside of Utah we do not collect sales tax to most states. Often, the shipping price is cheaper than the sales tax of 6.85%. Just give us a call and we will give you a quote. Make sure that you mention you would like the local pricing along with the shipping quote to your ZIP Code.

Welcome, Utah Customers. Save big by picking up locally. Call your order in to avoid shipping and to get the local pickup discount. Orders can be picked up the same day if ordered by 11:30 am. Pickup hours are Monday-Friday 9:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Here's how you order:

1) Add item to your cart and proceed to checkout. Or call our toll free number on our site 866-308-5484 and make sure you mention this local pickup price.

2) Once the order is placed you will receive your receipt via email before you hang up and you can pick up your product the next day if you are ordering a tent or camping cot and plan on picking it up from our Salt Lake location.

3) When the order is ready to be picked up you will be emailed a pickup slip along with the address and directions to the local warehouse. Below is the pickup address we have, but please do not simply show up as they are just warehouses and they do not accept orders. They are a fulfillment center where we ship products all over the United States.

Recent Pickup Reviews:"I just recently purchased a Kodiak tent off KSL from competitive edge products. At first I was nervous to make the purchase due to it being on KSL and I had to pay for the item before I could see it, but after some research and the great customer service I was given I made the purchase. I'm local to salt lake and there warehouse was close by so I did the local pick up option and got a great deal on my tent, cheaper than anyone around, and they even made it so I could pick it up the same day. This is a great company to do business with and I will buy from them again. Thanks again for the tent and answering all my questions. Ken N"Local Pickup Pricing

This tent is awesome! Our first time using the tent was in Yellowstone and the tent did not fail us once. We had rain with strong winds and it performed beautifully. We use disc-o-beds size large and x-large and they fit like a glove! So glad we upgraded. Although expensive, it was worth every penny.

Worth The Money
We have had so many different tents over the years. All failed/wore out after a couple of years of use. Had we just bit the bullet and purchased this tent way back when, we would have been money ahead. The quality is top notch. We first set it up at home and seasoned it. Never a good idea to set a new tent up out camping the first time. . . ha ha (not saying we have ever done that, but yes, it was a bit stressful) Back to the review: very simple to set up. Could be done with 1 person, but much quicker with the 2 of us. Our 2nd night it rained 5 inches. Although our campsite was a soggy mess, we and our gear stayed dry. It pretty much rained daily after that. Same results, campsite soggy, us dry. We did buy extra guy lines (4) for the poles. Not sure we actually needed them, but a little extra security is always nice. Competitive Edge Products is hands down the cheapest place we found to buy from. Great seller, communication and shipping. The tent has plenty of space for the 2 of us with a queen sized air mattress and our gear. Could get 2 queen sized air mattresses inside, but would get tight if you had a lot of other stuff. Without air mattresses you could easily get 4 peeps in there with their gear. The little awning is nice. We actually used it daily. Not so much to sit under but to let the fresh air in and as a doorway. Mesh screen kept the bugs out. Tent dries relatively quickly. Decent amount of storage pockets. We have since purchased more. We have collapsible tables we used, but with extra storage pockets we should have plenty and not need to bring the tables. (Phew 1 less thing to drag along) I could ramble on and on about this tent. But the main thing for us to say is, BUY IT, if you want a long term high quality tent. Cheers Rob and Janelle

Old Hunter
We purchased this tent to replace an old fashioned canvas wall tent, which replaced a MASH tent. This was after a detour to a three season synthetic tent from our favorite outdoor member chain store. The three season claim might be valid, in Hawaii, but not in New Mexico. It got returned immediately! It weighed about thirty pounds for a hundred square feet. It wasn't anything more than an oversized wind breaker jacket. Based on that experience I would suggest a figure-of-merit of about a pound per square foot, which this tent would satisfy. We could not be more pleased with our purchase! The service from Competitive Edge was very attentive and thorough. The construction, quality, workmanship, and design were impeccable. This didn't cost significantly more than the synthetic, but I'm confident that the next time that mother nature surprises me my equipment will be adequate to the conditions. The poles lacked some plastic feet, easily solved at the hardware store. The ground tarp was a worth the price. I haven't figured out what the steel pins on the side tie-downs are intended to do. Inform me, please.

Chief Cook
Let me first say that after quite a bit of research, and knowing my camping habits, I chose the 6121, without the built in awning. I like to use my Kelty tarps, so to save a bit of cost I opted for the model without the built in awning. I set this tent up as soon as I received it and it went up without any issues, which included me setting it up by myself. As far as set up is concerned, if it is staked out first, the poles will all set up relatively easy. I found that installing the center pole then the outer poles worked best. After all poles were installed I just went around to each one and adjusted them til the tent was fully set up. Taking it down was just as easy and I even got the tent to fit into the canvas carry bag that it comes with. I never got a chance to "season" the tent before we took it out. Our first trip was two days of rain, but not a single drop made its way inside of the tent. I was extremely impressed. The inside of the tent is large enough for two grown adults with all of their gear plus a couple of chairs. I also used my Buddy heater and found that the inside stayed very comfortable on the cold nights we were out. You just cannot do that with the average nylon tents on the market today. I would absolutely recommend this tent if you are considering a tent purchase. Forget about the 100-200. 00 nylon tents, they are a waste of money. Get the Kodiak Canvas and be a happy camper!

Absolutely Love This Tent!
We camp often with our two kids and were looking to upgrade our tent with something that would last for years and hold up well under frequent use. We are thrilled with this tent! It is well worth the investment. 1) Set up is quick and easy. Do not be intimidated if you are used to pop-up tents. My husband and I can have this tent set up in minutes, and taken down even faster. In fact, on an upcoming trip my husband will be meeting us at the campsite, and my seven-year-old daughter and I will be setting this up on our own before he arrives. It is not difficult and in the end, you'll be happy to have the heavy duty poles this tent utilizes rather than the flimsy ones most pop-up tents use. 2) We love the little "porch". We bought an oversized roll out outdoor mat to put under it, and we love setting up our chairs and a little table on the mat under there. 3) Size-wise, it fits our full size air mattress and the kids' bunk cots with ease. Lots of room left to move around inside. 4) The height and more vertical "cabin" style walls are great. You can move around the tent standing upright. 5) TONS of big windows you can unzip to allow for great airflow in warmer weather, but when you zip them up the canvas tent stays cozy inside.

Kodiak Cabin Tent
This tent is a beast! Tent, poles and the Kodiak tent tarp together weigh in at nearly 90 pounds! Definitely a car camping tent. However, the tent and poles come in two individual bags that each weigh about the same, so no one has to carry the whole load at once. As far as quality goes, I have to say, this tent is probably the next best thing to hauling an actual 9'x12' cabin around. This cabin tent is the second Kodiak tent I purchased from Competitive Edge Products, Inc. , and customer service, as well as the quality of the tent, is simply amazing. From the thick vinyl floor to the heavy Duck canvas, to the heavy duty zippers. No corner cutting with this manufacturer. The tent has windows, screens and stuff pockets everywhere. We set up three good size cots, and we still had enough space to set up some chairs and a small table by the large screen door that features the side awning. Setting the tent up takes 15 minutes by myself and less than 10 with two people. An Aluminum pole option would be nice. Other than that, I feel I got a great product at a great price. If you are looking for an outfitter type tent for two plus all the gear you can think of, this tent would be a great option as well. And no, I am not affiliated with Kodiak or Competitive Edge Products Inc.

Loving My New Kodiak Cabin Tent
I purchased this tent after extensive research of reading reviews and watching videos from others that had experience with this tent. I have to agree with them on the quality of the tent. I put it up for an inspection as soon as I received it and it looks great. I did a complete walk around inside and out and found no issues. I camped only one night so far but I really love this tent and plan on using it many times in the future. I would highly recommend this tent to anyone looking to purchase a cabin tent.
