The lid is lockable (lock not included) to provide even greater security and has a controlled spring-hinge for easy opening and closing. It has molded side handles for easy transport making it easy to move around your yard or patio and it is even sturdy enough to be used as a bench. Delivery Details: This product ships directly from Lifetime Products in Clearfield, UT. Delivery of this product is via a curbside delivery through an LTL carrier (too big for UPS and FedEx). The customer may be required to be present to sign for the order. The freight carrier is instructed to contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment. The carrier will unload the product by means of a lift gate. In some cases items may be too large to fit on the lift gate and may require assistance from the customer helping unload box-by-box (takes only a few minutes).
Signing for the Package: When signing for the delivery it is important to note any damage. Damage is extremely rare. We package these to travel both domestically and internationally. However, sometimes the packaging may be slightly damaged, but you may not be sure whether something inside is damaged. In such a case it is a good idea to sign for it and have the driver note it as such. You can still accept delivery. Call or email us with any questions.

Q: I am using the box to store pool equipment. Do I need to do anything as far as drilling holes, for water, etc.?

A: I have used a few of these, and I've never had a problem with them leaking, they are meant to be ready to go as soon as you assemble them. you may want to call 1-800-225-3865 for advise with storing the pool equipment.

A: I'm not 100% sure what a dock box is. I think it sounds like a great idea to use on a dock to store items. It would keep them protected from the weather and you can lock it.

Decent Storage Box

Easy to assemble. If using a socket use a 6pt socket. SAE works better than Metric. Bolt heads could be better.

130 gallon storage box for dock

Great box for the money. Was able to easily secure it to our dock to store jet ski equipment. It easily weathered our first storm this weekend with heavy wind and rain. Great choice for our needs.
