90114 Lifetime Adjustable Portable Basketball Hoop, 44 inch Polycarbonate

Lifetime's portable basketball hoops are the perfect option for beginning and seasoned players alike! Move it anywhere you need it—yard, driveway, or home court—with an easy-to-transport base that fills with sand or water. This system features a 44 in. Shatterproof Fusion™ Backboard. A Telescoping height adjustment mechanism that adjusts from 7.5 to 10 feet high so everyone can play at their own skill level. It also includes an 18” Streamline Rim with an all-weather net and a 2.75 in. diameter round steel pole. With a 17-gallon portable base complete with wheels, this system can easily be moved to a desired location. So bring the arena to your home with a residential basketball system from Lifetime Products.

Adjustment Mechanism - Enjoy the game at your level without the use of any tools to adjust! The telescoping pole adjusts the rim height from 7.5 to 10 feet in 6-inch increments.

Backboard - The Shatterproof Fusion™ Backboard integrates a shatterproof polycarbonate playing surface with an unbreakable polyethylene frame for a durable, pro-glass look. Graphics are screen-printed with UV-protected inks for superior color and protection against the elements.

Pole and Base - The 3 pc. 2.75 in. round steel pole is protected with a powder-coated, weather-resistant finish. The system is supported by a heavy duty 17 gallon Streamline portable base. Just fill with sand or water and play today. No cement required!

Rim - The Streamline Rim features a 5/8-inch solid-steel ring supported by 1/2-inch braces and an all-weather net.

A: This is a full fixed height system, I recommend one of our other adjustable basketball systems if you want something adjustable. If you are looking for a replacement backboard for an existing system check out our backboard and rim combos.

A: This basketball goal does not adjust. If you wand an adjustable one you will want to get one such as the 1558.

Q: What is difference between polycarbonate and acrylic backboard?

A: There are three main types of basketball backboard, glass, acrylic and polycarbonate. They are rated based on how good their rebound is. Polycarbonate is a less expensive material that does not have as good of a rebound, and is best for newer players. Acrylic has better rebound and is more expensive than the polycarbonate and is great for all-around use. Glass has the best rebound, is the most expensive, and is commonly used for professional use.

A: Yes. This system provides some basic, introductory-level features that makes the system affordable, but adaptable for younger players. With the rim height being adjustable to as low as 7.5 feet high, young players can reach the rim sooner with their shots.

Q: Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?

A: No. Generally, FedEx simply drops off the product at your doorstep. In certain housing situations, the product needs to be left at a front desk or at a gate. In those instances, a signature will be needed. If you have any question about your particular housing situation, please contact your property management to verify how deliveries are received at your location. Lastly, in the rare instance the FedEx driver does not feel the product will be safe being left at your address, the driver might also elect to get a signature before leaving the package.
