Great product!

This is a great product, easy to install, and I'm very pleased with results. Shipping box was pretty beat up when it arrived, so I was worried, but all parts were there and nothing broken. Followed instructions and had it up and assembled in a couple of days. Including a picture of the finished product. ??

We checked out a lot of hoops. For our first one, we wanted to make sure we got quality without spending a lot of money. This is a great hoop. My kids are 11, 8, and 5 and they all play on it and love it. Fast delivery and what we were expecting. Good deal!

Works Great!

I received the item in about five days and every piece was accounted for. It took me about a total of four hours to install the whole thing, minus the 72 hour waiting period. The system is solid and the adjustable rim is great for the kids.

I PURCHASED FOR MY SONS AND ITS BEST PURCHASE I HAVE MADE IN QUITE SOMETIME THEY COULDN'T WAIT FOR THE CEMENT TO DRY FAST ENOUGH MY YOUNGEST WAS OUT AT 6: 45 A. M. TO USE. I ORDERED IT SATURDAY IT WAS THERE THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY LESS THAN A WEEK, WAS SKEPTICAL OF DIRECTIONS OF CEMENTING BOTTOM POLE AT ONLY 14 1/2' BUT TURNED OUT EXACTLY AS DIRECTIONS SAID. Q: after this unit has been used and out in Iowa weather,(rain, snow, heat , cold) for 4-5 yrs. , does it still adjust up and down easily? will the adjusting handle fail and break off after being out in the weather.

A: This system should hold up well in the weather, and it is also covered by a 5 year warranty through Lifetime. Polycarbonate is stronger than any glass or acrylic so in that sense it will last longer, but isn't necessarily better. Tempered glass (like a windshield) holds up great outside and is considered to be the best for playing basketball.

Q: How tall is this pole and how deep do I. In the concrete?

A: The pole is about 10 feet tall, you bury it about 18 inches so the pole is about 8 1/2 feet out of the ground. Because this is adjustable, the rim actually raises higher than the top of the pole so it does go to 10 feet. We have instructions available if you would like more details.

Q: What is the difference between acrylic and tempered glass?

A: Acrylic is not as rigid as tempered glass, and tends to hold up better in more abusive conditions.

Q: Do I need a ground sleeve to install this basketball system?

A: A ground sleeve's purpose is to allow you to remove the pole of the system out of the ground it you think you will need to do that. Common reasons for removal are moving or putting the system in storage during the winter. If you do not think you will need to do this, you do not need a ground sleeve.

A: The ground sleeve is a steel encasement that form fits the pole. At the top of the ground sleeve, after installing the pole, you will hammer in a wedge that will keep the pole from moving while in the sleeve. Stability with and without a ground sleeve is very comparable.
