Lifetime 48-Inch Portable Basketball System 1479 Polycarbonate Backboard

I bought this for my son and when we opened it one piece was slightly bent making it unusable. However Lifetime was incredibly helpful sending a new piece immediately even when I realized I asked for the wrong piece. They have been amazing the entire time. They were quick to fix everything!!

I bought this hoop in 2016 after watching Steph Curry play. I'm an old guy that hasn't played in decades but seeing Steph hit shots from way out there inspired me to get off my butt. I have been using this hoop almost every day for 6 years until the rim broke. I would love to claim the rim came off after I dunked but that would be a tall tale for another day. Instead I clanked a shot off the front of the rim and down it came. I was quite shocked to the rim lying on the ground with the ball bouncing away down the street. Well time to upgrade the hoop I thought but I got sticker shock after seeing the $500 price tag. Then I checked to see if I could order another rim. After I finally figuring out where that product ID was (middle of the sticker on the pole) I ordered a replacement rim for $30 delivered. Now I'm back in business making buckets.

Coupled with solid weighted base becomes a great product.

Purchase two hoops for a school. Kids love them. Portability a plus. Missing a part and customer service couldn't have been more efficient.

Called to inquire about replacement brace poles for Lifetime Adjustable Portable Basketball Hoop and was provided with the parts. I was informed that delivery to Canada would be two and a half to three weeks and received the parts in less than a week. Bought this product a few years ago. The wind blew it down and bent a bracket. They replaced it for free and no shipping charges.

My son gave me his Lifetime basketball goal but it was missing a few bolts and a steel rod. I called Lifetime and Eric helped me to order the parts I needed. Eric was very nice and very knowledgeable. Thanks Eric and Lifetime!

First I was surprised at the size of the box I thought it would be bigger. But everything was there and we followed the instructions that were very easy to understand. It took a little over 3 hours to assemble with my wife helping. When we were done we were amazed at the great professional quality! We filled the base with water and we were shooting away! I can raise and lower the height of the backboard very easily. I always wanted a basketball hoop at my house it's another part of the American Dream! I think it makes my house and driveway look better too. Can't wait for the Grand-kids to come over what a surprise this is gonna be. Going out to shoot some more hoops now. Great Exercise too!
