80 Gallon trunk great for storage

Very nice trunk and I found it easy to assemble with one person. I would recommend placing the lid (not attaching lid hardware) on the box before doing the corners screws on the trunk bottom to make sure the box bottom is square. The only problem I had was that the screws to attach the hinge to the lid were too big for the holes on hinge. Quick trip to Ace fixed that since getting smaller screws was easier for me than making the holes on the hinge bigger. I sealed all the seams with clear caulk to keep out bugs. Only thing I would improve is the handle configuration to make it easier to grip the trunk when moving it. This trunk is much more sturdy than the other deck boxes I have purchased for the same or more money.

Quality Purchase

Great Durability

We bought this box a couple of years ago. It sits outside up against the house and is used for storing cushions and general outside items. It has weathered storms, heat waves and gets used as seating when friends are around or as a place to sit while working in the garden and is still in great condition. We have had lots of comments from friends and family on how good it is and where can they get one. We bought it from a shop as the display unit so it was already assembled so cannot comment on the ease of putting it together, but cannot imagine it could be that hard. We love it. High Quality Storage At A Very Affordable Price!

I've used the model 60059 storage box for three years and it has performed flawlessly. The hinge and mechanism are solidly designed and the craftsmanship of the plastic build is durable and attractive. I've also found it serves as a great project box since it's a highly durable and UV resistant enclosure. I plan to purchase two more since it was clear the product lives up to the company's name. Lifetime Deck Box

We ordered one of these boxes for our boat. It was such a perfect fit, and the colors so perfect ,that we ordered a second one. We haven't had it long enough to know if it can stand up to our brutal AZ. summer sun, but we are VERY pleased with the style, colors and sturdiness.

Parcel Locker

I like Lifetime products. They are sturdy and so far I believe long lasting. We recently moved and I bought this for receiving package delivery which I get a lot. It is out of sight behind our front porch. Now all I have to do is train all delivery personnel of it's use and existence, harder than putting it together and bolting to the concrete. Most frequent vendor I use is Amazon and they do not offer delivery instructions for the label, I have contacted them several times, I won't hold my breath. Only complaint is when assembling it and a shed we left behind, the wall panels are very difficult to snap into the floor/base. Other than that it is a great product, well built and sturdy. I also own several different tables which I find to be excellent also

Q: Could I use this to store food or drinks outside during colder weather?

A: This is not a cooler, and it should not be used to store perishable items for long times. that said, you could store nonperishable items, or use it to store pet supplies and other items.
