90168 Lifetime Adjustable Portable Basketball Hoop (48-Inch Polycarbonate)

This portable basketball system from Lifetime Products features a 48" Shatter Proof Fusion™ backboard with a Quick Adjust® height adjustment mechanism that adjusts from 8 to 10 feet high. It also includes a black Slam-It® Rim with an all-weather net and a 3" diameter round steel pole. With a 31-gallon portable base, this system can easily be moved to a desired location. Features & Benefits

Adjustment Mechanism: Quick Adjust® II Adjustment - Raise or lower the rim height from 8 to 10 feet using a broomstick. Now players of any age or skill can enjoy the game at their level.

Backboard: The Shatterproof Fusion™ Backboard integrates a shatterproof polycarbonate playing surface with an unbreakable polyethylene frame for a durable, pro-glass look. Graphics are screen-printed with UV-protected inks for superior color and protection against the elements.

Rim: This heavy-duty classically-styled rim is built to take a slam®! The Slam-It® Rim features double-compression springs providing spring-back action and an all-weather net.

Pole & Base: The 3-piece, 3-inch round steel pole is protected with a powder-coated, weather-resistant finish and comes with an included pole pad. The system is supported by a heavy duty 31 gallon portable base. Just fill with sand or water and play today. No cement required!

Good hoop

For the price this is a really good basketball system. I have a neighbor who has one just like this and he is converting it into an inground basketball system. Im told it can become inground if you get a replacement to compensate for the depth you bury it in the ground.

A: This comes as a prepackaged kit - it cannot be substituted with different parts and sizes of backboards.

A: Yes. With the adjustable backboard height, even young players can start to develop their shooting earlier. Players can also grow into the system as both the rim and rim height (when adjusted to the highest position) are regulation.
