Lifetime 90878 54-Inch In-Ground Adjustable Acrylic Backboard Basketball Hoop

I bought this Bball system for my kids as well as the in ground sleeve. It takes some time and effort to assemble but it is worth it in the end.

Love this basketball goal! This is a wonderful basketball goal. Our son absolutely loves it. We could not find someone to professionally install so my husband and son did it. The directions are very unclear. However we found a youtube video that combined with the directions made it go smoothly.

I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the quality of this product and the instructions. Requires patience and about a week of true labor. I started out doing this myself and im a 43 yr old nurse who refuses to pay for someone else to put it together. . My son had been bugging for the past year for a new hoop. We had been using those junky sand bottom ones for forever. I had been looking at Dunhams and various other basketball retails and they were all a ripoff and not to mention the additional $500 cost for installation. No thanks! I decided to check lifetimes website and was surprised to see the cost free delivery and that it was made in the USA. We got the product in a timely manner. Because we live in Michigan we did have to double how deep our hole was due to frost lines. That was 42 inches which was a pain because it gets so deep u can't continue digging with decent strength and the length of the shovel is the whole hole size. We made due and it was about the right depth. We did use a post hole digger. What they dont tell you is the amount of bricks and concrete change due to being a frost state and you have to figure it out by trial and error. I won't lie the hole digging and quick concrete was the worst part. It was my 13 yr old teenagers job to dig the hole and he did eventually need mine and my husband's help. We ended up using about 7 bags of quick concrete and mixed each bag individually in a wheel barrow. Overall it is a great product and my boys love it!

This is my 2nd warranty claim and with out hesitation they replaced the part .

The powerlift system is amazing. My kids can raise and lower the hoop with ease. No poles needed no super-human upper body strength required to change the height.

Manual is not easily understandable. Could be much better. Let me write it for you Lifetime! Seems sturdy and my kids are loving it. Great look also. Very simple to adjust the height which is a huge plus.

Arrived with broken backboard. Should have bought the polycarbonate. It would be nice if Lifetime gave the option upfront I did not see the polycarbonate version until the product arrived.
