Lifetime Big Stuff Adventure Clubhouse Playground With Double Slides, Jay Blue Color, 91382

It took some convincing to get this playground but my kids absolutely love it. This is something they will be able to use for a long time. We have kids of all ages over and everyone loves playing on it.

The set and assembly took about 7 hours to complete. It was very helpful to open all of the boxes/packages and lay it all out on the lawn to keep everything organized. We love the rock wall the rope climb and especially the double slide. The grandkids love to hold hands as they slide down! The round rope swing is nice for my handicapped grandson. The colors of the playset are nice that they blend in with the yard and make it aesthetically appealing. The size of the playset is great because it allows all of the grandkids to play at the same time and not have to wait to continue in the fun! We love it and so do the grandchildren!

Prior to picking up the playset I watched several videos to get an idea of what assembly might require. I noticed some videos showed the playset delivered on a large pallet. I would be picking mine up at a local Lifetime store and was worried how it would fit in my Tacoma with a shell. The staff was very friendly and helped me load the boxes off the pallet into the bed of the truck. I had to leave the window on the shell open for the slides to hang out but other than that it fit perfect in the small bed of the truck. The playset was in eight different boxes and weight was distributed allowing for the playset to be moved alone. I would highly encourage anyone putting together the play set to watch the video before setting up the playset. Watching the video gave me a good idea of what to expect. I was able to put the playset together in 5 hours with about 2 hours of help from my dad. Help is needed to stand the playset and attach the roof. I was impressed with the organization of all the nuts and bolts. This made assembly much easier than other out of the box projects I have worked with. During set up I really appreciated all the plastic plugs that will prevent bees from building nests in all the steel tubing. My daughter (two and a half year old) came to “help” finish the assembly and it has been difficult to pull her away from the playset ever since. She absolutely loves the double slides for racing! If she isn’t going down the slide she is running back and forth between the binoculars and the steering wheel. She loves to spin the steering wheel and listen to it click. The only downside of the construction is the metal ladder steps are a bit slick. I ended up putting some grip tape type material on them and now I have a lot more confidence when my daughter runs for the ladder. She is still learning to share and the playset will give her lots of opportunities to share. All the neighbor kids want to come play. The playset is big enough for lots of kids! We had 6 kids playing at once with no problem. After reading the instructions and recommended space needed for the playset I was nervous about how much space it would take up. Based off the recommendations for space I ended up putting it in the middle of the yard. Now that the playset is up it takes up less room than expected and I will move it to a corner of the yard. It will also blend in well in the corner because of its colors. I love earth tone colors and the playsets colors are perfect. Allowing the playset to look natural in our yard. Especially compared to some other bright colored or faded wood playsets I have seen. I think the quality and attention to detail is amazing and will allow this playset to stay in our yard for decades.

This playset is the new gathering place in the yard after years of driving our older kids to playgrounds we brought the playground home with us. The assembly was doable with one person even though the recommended two people would be helpful. The swings and slides are the last step of the assembly process which is great because the kids wanted to climb on it before it was even fully assembled. Six or seven hours after getting it home I had it set up and in use it's been played with every day since even in inclimate weather. The platform and slides have become a favorite spot for my youngest to test his cars and my 6 year old has already learned how to pump on the swings. I wish the platform extended closer to the climbing wall so the gap was more manageable for my younger kids the older ones can step across no problem.

This playset is the new gathering place in the yard after years of driving our older kids to playgrounds we finally brought the playground home with us. The assembly was doable with one person even though the recommended two people would have been much easier. The swings and slides are the last step of the assembly process which is great because the kids wanted to climb on it before it was even fully assembled. Six or seven hours after getting it home I had it set up and in use. It's been played on every day since even in inclement weather. The kids ranging from three to thirteen have all spent time on this playset. The platform and slides have become a favorite spot for the 3 year old and his cars and my 6 year old has already learned how to pump on the swings. I wish the platform extended closer to the climbing wall so the gap was more manageable for my younger kids the older ones can step across no problem. I like the double slides it gets used for racing often. I also like the fact that three kids can swing (if you include the bar as swinging) at a time. Another feature I like is that it has the rope ladder and the medal ladder. The medal ladder is easier for the littles but the older ones prefer the rope. We haven't used the spider swing yet but I like that we have it as an option. The neutral colors are nice since I see it all day out my window and it fits nicely in the yard.

The building material quality (powder coated metal and plastic) of this play set is what I would expect from any lifetime product excellent. This playset took about 4 hours to assemble with 2 people. Lifetime’s online instructional step by step assembly videos were very helpful. I will say the physical assembly manual booklet was difficult to find. It was in the roof panel box hidden between 2 roof panels. The 1-8 labeling on the boxes made the process smooth. Hardware is packaged separately for each step which really streamlined the process. Overall assembly was not very difficult for 2 adults. The main thing that consistently sets Lifetime apart from other playset manufacturers is attention to detail. There are plastic caps on any open ends preventing wasps from creating any nests on the playset. All edges are rounded and all allen bolts and nuts are flush so kids cannot trip or snag on them. The chains for all of the swings are covered and create no pinch points for small fingers. My kids absolutely love this playset! There is not a single feature on this playset that goes unused for my 2 and 4 year old. They love laying on the spider swing together. They take turns using the merry-go-round on the bottom of the playset. My 2 year old has no issues climbing up the main ladder and my 4 year old loves going up the rope ladder or rock wall. The top portion of the playset is like the treehouse my 4 year old has always wanted! The captain’s wheel binoculars and chalkboard really foster their big imaginations! I have seen them use that fort as a pirate ship a lookout tower and a camping tent where they lay on the platform and look at the stars in the roof above. They take toy cars to the top and use the built in car map to play before sending the cars racing down the slide. Perhaps the best feature of this playset is the dual slides. My kids love holding hands while going down the slides together! We have a fairly small backyard and this playset does take up a substantial amount of space but is not too invasive. It still leaves plenty of space for our vegetable garden trampoline and plenty of open room for the kiddos and dog to run. I can see our young kids enjoying this for many years to come. I would recommend this playset to anyone looking to add a backyard playground!

Our kids love this playset! It was time consuming to put together. We printed the directions from the internet prior to assembly but then stumbled upon a printed set in one of the 8 boxes. It would be helpful if the box was labeled saying “directions enclosed. ” The layout of all the pieces and parts was clearly marked and made it straightforward to decipher during assembly. The end result was worth the time it took to put together and would recommend this product to others.

Two weeks ago with the collaboration of Lifetime I was given this playset as a product reviewer. A buddy and I picked it up from our local Lifetime store. The staff was very helpful with loading our playset into a bumper pull trailer and took some extra time to answer a few questions we had. The assembly went well for the most part. We mostly used the instructions in the box and had a little help with Lifetimes YouTube video. A lot of the hardware was universal throughout the project which made it easier to assemble. I did have one bolt that was cross threading and unusable. There is a bag with extra parts but this particular piece didn't have a spare. Luckily I happened to have a similar bolt in my garage. Even though we took our time building it the whole project only took about 5 hours. My kids love the double slide so they can race each other. Another feature they really enjoy is the mini go round under the main platform. There is two things that I wish were different. One being that the spider swing taking up two of the three spaces for attachments. And two being the metal getting pretty hot in the sun. I would like to clarify that the plastic components of the set stay relatively cool in the heat it is only the metal that gets hot. It's a pretty large playset and it still fit in my small backyard. All in all I think my kiddos will enjoy this for a really long time and I am very happy with the product.
