Shipping Your Lifetime Double Adventure Tower Playset: What to Expect
The Lifetime 90966 Double Adventure Tower is the manufacturer’s largest residential playset. It includes two covered castle towers connected by a bridge, two 9 ft. wavy slides, two belt swings, a trapeze bar, monkey bars, fireman’s pole, four climbing walls, two curved ladders, four storefronts, two car maps, a ship wheel, and four included anchors. The oversized powder-coated steel and HDPE components arrive unassembled in multiple boxes secured inside a large shipping crate.
Current Availability: This item is currently listed as more on the way. Shipping will begin after inventory becomes available and the order is released by Lifetime Products.
Shipping TimeframeOrders generally leave the Lifetime Products warehouse in Clearfield, Utah on the next business day, although handling may take longer during periods of high demand. Delivery timing depends on inventory availability, the freight-carrier route, and appointment scheduling.
Tracking Information
Tracking information is automatically emailed after the order ships. The freight carrier will contact you before delivery to arrange an appointment. This playset arrives in a large crate containing multiple boxes, so verify that the complete shipment is present. If separate tracking numbers are provided, monitor each shipment.
Curbside Freight Delivery
This playset ships through an LTL freight carrier and is too large for standard UPS or FedEx service. An adult must be present to inspect and sign for delivery. Because the complete crate does not fit on a standard liftgate, at least two capable adults must be available to help unload the individual boxes from the back of the semi-trailer. Some pieces, including the 9 ft. slides, are manageable but long and awkward.
Delivery and Inspection
Inspect the crate and every box before signing. Check for broken crate boards, crushed cartons, torn wrapping, broken bands, exposed or bent steel components, cracked molded panels, damaged chains, frayed ropes, or damage around the two towers, bridge, slides, monkey bars, fireman’s pole, climbing walls, swings, and roof sections. Note all visible or suspected damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves. Before assembly, inventory the tower frames, bridge components, clubhouse and roof panels, both slides, monkey bars, fireman’s pole, four climbing walls, two ladders, two belt swings, trapeze bar, chains, four anchors, fasteners, and hardware.
Pro-Tip for Double Adventure Tower Delivery:
Do not schedule assembly until every box has arrived and all parts have been inventoried. Prepare a large, mostly level installation area and arrange for a team to move the boxes from the curb. The assembled unit measures approximately 29 ft. 9 in. x 17 ft. 2 in., stands about 10 ft. 9 in. high, and requires a recommended 42 ft. 11 in. x 31 ft. 2 in. safety zone. The playset must be assembled in the configuration shown in the product photos and current manual. Four anchors are included and should be installed according to the instructions. Assembly commonly requires multiple adults and substantial time; installation is not included. Keep the crate, cartons, bands, and packing materials until the playset has been fully inspected and assembled.
