Q: Can I order the Monkey Bar swing set and pay now and postpone delivery for a month or two until the weather warms up? Will the swing set be reserved and available until that postponed delivery date?

A: This particular model 90143 is being replaced by 91028. The 90143 will run out probably by the end of this week. Unfortunately, we cannot hold orders for several months. They are outdoor products and can be weathered if you cover the boxes with the tarp.

Q: Does the plastic covering the chains on the swings get sticky? We live in a very hot climate and have had that problem with other swings.

A: They definitely do not get sticky. Years ago there was an isolated batch where that happened to them based on a manufacturing error, but that has been corrected. They have UV protectant in them.

A: Yes, the monkey bars section can be assembled with the slide on either the “front” or “back” to allow it to be on the opposite side shown. It only comes with one slide, and I’m not sure about adding an additional one because the two sides are different. Only one end of the monkey bars has a slide support.

A: I know the slide has a limit of 150lbs, not certain about height. The rest of the set can easily handle an average adult, I'm not sure if it is supposed to, but my wife and I have played on it with the kids and the set has had no issues keep up.

A: These playgrounds are powder coated to reduce rust and overheating, so this will lower the amount of heat conducted by the metal. However, on very hot days the metal may become hot to the touch. Always have an adult check it before using in the summer.

A: They are 92 inches off the ground which is a generous height even for many adults. I am 5'10" and I am able to do the monkey bars-I only know that, because I have this in my backyard. I'm not in the habit of doing the monkey bars though. I do enjoy swinging with the kids though.

Bought this for the kids a couple years ago (Covid year to be of fact) and this thing is a rock. It has been through the ringer with the kids climbing all over it and it doesnt show a bit of rust, it's solidly built. The swings will cause the legs to rock if you do not stake them down but other then that there is no complaints on this thing. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a swing set that will last.

AMAZING customer service
I wish all companies were as competent, friendly and responsive as Competitive Edge. I 100% recommend ordering from them. The play set is perfect for my 6 and 8 year old as a step up from their "little kid" play set. They love it and love playing with their friends on it with the 3 swings. I love the color and how unobtrusive the colors (earth) are blending in to the backyard. I had ordered the swing set from another seller before I heard of Competitive Edge and had an absolutely horrible experience - this seller was such a wonderful contrast.

Excellent product

Excellent playground
We are so pleased with the quality of this swing set! We have had it set up for about 2 months now and the kids are out playing on it everyday possible. Very sturdy for our active 8 year old boy and a couple of friends. But yet also safe and size appropriate for our 3 year old girl as well. Easy to put together directions and the app you can download made super simple.
