This lifetime elite basketball system is one of the newest products introduced by lifetime in 2013. The 52 inch board is larger than most driveway basketball system boards (48" average). You can make about any bank shot you want with a 52 inch wide frame. The spring loaded rim makes it fun to slam dunk. This spring loaded rim also is considered to be more forgiving. For example, when shooting a free throw on a rim that has no springs it is more likely to be away if you miss. This spring loaded rim does the opposite.
The oversized 35 gallon base is the largest that lifetime offers. Intense basketball play cannot tip it over. Fill it with sand and it is almost impossible to blow over in a windstorm. The base has wheels on the front making it portable. Note- do not fill it with sand if you plan on moving it from time to time.

It can withstand the cold freezing winter and the summer sun. The UV-Protectants and powder-coated paint finish will give you about 10 years.
