Start training your young kayaker with this 6-foot youth kayak from Lifetime Products. The 90242 Wave youth kayak features a red, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic hull. On top of the kayak are molded seating area and molded footholds with varying distances from the seat to accommodate different heights of rider. The HDPE plastic hull will not fade, crack, or peel due to exposure to the sunlight providing the kayak with a long life of use. With a 130-lb. weight capacity, this kayak is great for beginning to intermediate level kayakers ages 5 and up. The 90242 comes with a double-sided paddle. Each kayak includes a unique identification number usually on the back of the kayak. Each kayak includes a manufacturer certificate of origin.

Lifetime youth kayaks feature a flat bottom with molded channels to help reduce friction in the water. The flat bottom shape is well-suited for those learning to kayak as it helps limit the ability to tip in the water. The flat bottom is also designed for calm waters.
