Local Pickup Options for Kodiak Canvas Tents 6098 9 x 8 ft. Flex-bow

The 9' x 8' tent is a good size for solo camping, and there's also plenty of room for a friend. It's big enough to feel like a cabin, and small enough that I can manage it by myself. I'm impressed by how well the tent is designed and made and how smoothly the zippers work. The huge screened panels and two top side vents provide a lot of ventilation and viewing options. It's convenient to have two doors. The white roof and sides let in a cheerful amount of daylight. When the tent arrived I put it up in my back yard and it started raining an hour later and hardly stopped for a week. I didn't want to take it down wet, so it stayed there. Absolutely dry inside the whole time. A suggestion for improvement: add some tabs or loops inside for hanging lanterns, clothing, etc. But I can add them myself. Things I'm not quite so thrilled about: I might appreciate the awning more later, but for now I wish it were detachable. And the tent stakes were too thick to go into hard ground, so I replaced them with the ones that look like 11" nails. My only tiny gripes. Otherwise, what a great tent!
