Lifetime 90916 Mammoth Bolt-Down Basketball Hoop — 60" Tempered Glass

Meet the Lifetime Mammoth® Basketball System—built for arena-style performance at home. A heavy-duty, steel-framed tempered glass backboard delivers true rebound and premium play, while the Mammoth® Rim is engineered for aggressive action and includes a low-maintenance all-weather net. Dial in your game with the intuitive Mammoth Lift® mechanism to raise or lower the rim from 7.5' to 10'. The massive one-piece steel pole is powder-coated and secured in-ground to a precision, bolt-down anchor for exceptional stability—and when it’s time to move, you can take the system with you by unbolting from the anchor plate.

Backboard and Rim

Backboard type: Tempered glass with steel frame.
Backboard size: 60 in. (W) x 36 in. (H) x 1.16 in. (thickness overall assembly).
Glass thickness: 3/8 in. tempered glass playing surface for superior rebound.
Frame: Heavy-duty steel perimeter/frame fused to the glass for rigidity.
Rim: Mammoth® arena-style rim with wraparound brace and heavy-duty spring action.
Net: All-weather white net, approximately 160 g.

Height Adjuster

Adjustment system: Mammoth Lift®.
Operation: Squeeze the lever to glide smoothly to your desired height; release to lock.
Range: Infinite increments from 7.5 ft to 10 ft for players of all ages and skill levels.

Pole sections: 1-piece for maximum rigidity.

Awesome we'll built!

I have bought several backboards at places like Dick's sporting goods and Dunham's sporting goods and my 15-year-old son has broken two of their backboards shattered and nobody stands by their product. I bought this it took a little while to get but once we got it it came in three boxes and by far is so much sturdier built and way heavier well put together The rim itself was 10 times better the backboard easily a hundred times better Happy with this product by far. Be aware the bolt pattern is different then the standard rim so u will have to start with new j hooks that are provided. This is a superior product to all the rest. Review Source: Manufacturer

Mammoth 60

Great product. Friend had one growing up through highchool and I remember it being great back then. 20 years later still making the same great hoops now for my kids to enjoy.

Mammoth 60”

We have been looking for the perfect inground hoop after using two portables. It looks nice and it’s sturdy. My kids are just short of dunking but move a bench to dunk and the rim holds them fine (middle schoolers). We are really happy with it.

Awesome Basketball Goal!

This is a heavy duty basketball hoop that's fairly simple to put together. It will require many people to stand it up being so heavy. Wish it would have come with foam pad as well for this price. Overall I would give it a A- for 4-1/2 stars.

Q: Does the Mammoth 90916 come with the following: in ground anchor kit, pole pad, backboard pad? Also, is there in installation manual online? I need to tell my landscapers exactly where to place the post (how far from the fence, to allow room for the lever) and how much overhang there is at 10 feet, so I can verify the court dimensions. Also, if I purchase soon, would I be able to pick this up in Clearfield, prior to May 31?

A: You need to dig a hole about 4' deep and 18" diameter. It also uses about 1/2 yard of concrete. Please see the instruction manual link for specifics.
