This is a shed kit designed to make installation as simple as possible. The parts are pre-cut and the owner’s manual is done very well. There is free technical support as well. Please note that the windows are optional. This shed fits lots of storage in a small space. If you need plenty of storage in a limited area, this shed kit is for you. The Meadowbrook wood storage shed kit has a 2nd-floor loft area for additional storage. The loft is accessible by a 4' opening inside and a 2nd-floor loft door so you can get at what you need when you need it. The Meadowbrook is Attractive and versatile and is the perfect outdoor storage shed solution.

This kit is a perfect solution for all your storage needs. This specific shed features a large loft area with a working loft door. The loft area is accessible from inside the shed as well. The shed walls stand 6'4" high with plenty of headroom and generous storage space. The overhead loft floor on each end of the shed is accessed from a 4' opening in the center of the shed. The accessible loft door measures 42"x 34". The siding has vertical grooves that give an attractive plank look. They are primed so you can paint the color of your choice (latex acrylic paint is recommended).

Siding
The siding is treated with a compositor and prevents fungal decay and insect damage. The siding is manufactured with wood strands that are pressed into a resin-saturated substrate making it superior to plywood.

Trusses
The precut trusses are engineered to handle severe snow loads of 40 psf and 150 mph wind loads. Part of the hardware includes hurricane truss hangers for added wind strength.

Loft Door
Loft Door: This can be functional or can be decorative and non-opening. The doors swing outward. The idea is to give access for loft storage from the outside.

The Best Barn wood shed kit components fit easily into place with no special tools or skills required. All required hardware is included. Roof edge and shingles are provided by the owner as most customer’s want to purchase that locally to match their home.

Floor
Optional Floor: If you have an already existing level foundation, cement slab, blacktop or gravel base, the floor kit is still recommended as you do not want your siding and walls touching the ground where they can soak up water. If you don’t purchase the floor, you’ll need some sort of wooden base or material to raise the shed off the direct ground. The floor includes treated 4x4 runners, 2 x 4's for the floor joists, and ¾” plywood. Raising the foundation above the ground the 4 x 4's allow air to flow an eliminate moisture. All nails are included. The floor does require cutting and assembly and floor sheathing is not treated.

Optional Windows: Single-hung aluminum 18x27 windows provide light and ventilation. The lockable frames are durable and easy to operate. Screens limit insects, birds, leaves, etc. Window includes raised panel vinyl shutters ready to paint.
