Exactly What I Needed

Awesome Shed

I really love this shed. I bought a 10 ft x 15 ft and it is big. I can put my Cub Cadet, ATV, & my motorcycle and still have tons of room. It took a friend and I 7 days to put it up. Leveled out the ground and I have 6 inches of lime stone for base, 6 tons!! Building the floor kit took a little time but once that was done, everything went smooth. I put another 4 tons of stone within the floor kit. They said either stone or cement. The walls were tricky with two people but no issues. Roof install was ok but lining up the hole was tough. Well all holes or most of them didn't line up perfect but that was expected. On roof, I found by putting a screwdriver to line them up. Then I had the pin ready, as soon as the screwdriver was coming out, I was pushing the pin in at the same time and went right in. The directions were a little difficult but make sure you match the pictures to what you are working on. I learned the hard way. I should have had all pin holes facing up when putting together the roof's center beam. I couldn't rip it all down so I had to drill hole in the beam so the roofing pins could go in. Once the shed was up and doors were closed, it looks really nice and it is not going anywhere. Pretty solid. HINT. . . . . . MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A LEVEL BASE or you will have a heck of a time trying to put everything together. A must buy if you need a good solid shed. Cheaper than buying a wood shed. Also I ordered a extra roof support because of the snowy winters here in PA. But the roof is pretty solid too. I always buy extra for all my projects. Better to be safe than sorry, I always say!!! As Advertised

Pretty much as advertised. It is good quality and easy to assemble, but make sure you have a level surface or components will not align. Nice bland color as well, so it does not stick out or seem obtrusive (Originally posted on Woodbridge 10x8 00284)

Nice, Good Looking Shed

Went together well, the only blemish is there were 2 metal frame pieces that were unfinished. They still had burrs on them where they were cut and were not painted. (Originally posted on Woodbridge 10x8 00284)

Nice Once It Is Finished

I just finished assembling the 10 x8 with the extension to make it a 10x10. . It is quite complicated but the drawings are very helpful , just make sure to read thru them all at least once. . Lay out every thing and make sure they are all labeled (THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT). Make sure that parts are assembled and installed according to the pictures ( meaning holes are going in the right directions, such as pointing up not down) dont try to rush it, take your time . . so that as you assemble you dont have to take it apart and redo it. . Once you assemble the entire shed it becomes very stable and is really nice. (Woodbridge 10x8 00284)

Good Product, Lousy Customer Service

The shed is great. I asked them a question when I was erecting it; no response. They sent me this survey along with an opportunity to comment a few weeks later. Good Quality Storage Building.

The storage building is a quality building. The directions leave something to be desired. All instructions are photo's only. There is very little verbal instructions. I have built many things and work construction. I have not built with the photo's only before. If there was written directions it would make assembly easier.

This particular shed ships in 3 boxes on a pallet. Sometimes the paperwork includes the pallet as its own separate piece. When you sign for the shipment it may include the pallet as a separate line item.

Signing for the Package: When signing for the delivery it is important to note any damage. Damage is extremely rare. We package these to travel both domestically and internationally. Q: About how long does it take to assemble this shed?

A: This is one of our most commonly asked questions about the storage shed. It's also one of the most difficult to answer and here's why. There are a few factors that go into assembling a storage shed. Sometimes one person will install this by him or herself. That obviously means it will take longer for that person to install it then, say, the person that has three people total assembling this. Also, some people build an elaborate floor even laying tile on it, whereas, others will simply cut plywood and make that their floor. So, here is what we recommend. We recommend three adults. We have found that the most efficient way to assemble one of the storage sheds is to have one person hold the instruction manual and direct the other two people to do the assembly step by step. The advantage to having the instruction master (the instruction master is a cool name and makes the instruction manual holder feel special) doing that job only is that he or she can look to the next step while the other two are completing the previous step. It creates a system where everything seems to flow best. In such a situation you should be able to knock this out easily on a Saturday. Some customers have reported that it is taken them as little as four hours. I would say the majority of customers are closer to six hours though. And it isn't six hours of confusion it is just simply six hours of grabbing the next panel, setting it in place, and attaching it with the hardware. Now, assuming that you have the entire shed put together the last step is the floor. This particular storage shed comes with the metal foundation, but that is not the floor. The foundation is fantastic, because it allows you to put the storage shed on virtually any surface and the foundation kit will basically tell you if surface is level or not and it is important to level the surface. If the surface is not level you may have issues with parts of the shed fitting properly. Again, the foundation kit is a huge key in making assembly go well. The foundation kit raises it off the ground slightly which can be advantageous if you have water pooling in that area during downpours. But, you still need to put something on top of the foundation. Most customers will simply get plywood from their local hardware store. One tip on that to keep in mind is that most hardware stores that sell would will also cut the wood for you. The instruction manual tells you the size of the wood you need to cut for this particular storage shed. So, basically, you head on over to the store and tell them you need such and such number of wood at such and such size. Then, you take that would and send it directly on the foundation. Some customers will connect the wood with brackets and some leave the wood simply setting on the foundation surface. Like I mentioned before some people will even lay tile on top of the wood or make it fancy-the choice is yours. If you have any other questions about assembly please let us know. Make sure when you are installing this you are installing it on a day of good weather so you don't have to worry about fighting the wind or the rain. The majority of customers do not hire this assembly out. I would say well over 90% of our customers install this themselves. You can do it. If you run into any problems there is an 800 number on the owners manual where they can walk you through the step in question. So, know that there is always help. We want this to be a pleasant experience for you.
