Features and Specs:

Extend your lifetime shed with the 30" extension kit. Please note that the extension kit is 8' wide and only extends the length of the shed, the 8' width will remain the same. This Kit includes a window for extra light and is the same material and coloring as most other lifetime sheds. Extend your 8-ft wide Lifetime shed by 2.5 feet with the 60169 extension kit. This kit features the same high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic floor, walls, and roof with a single steel truss support. Allow additional natural light into your shed with this extension kit's skylight and window. The window can be placed on either side of the shed assembly.

Note: Not compatible with all Lifetime sheds - including model 6413, all Lifetime 8-foot sheds with a full-length skylight, and sheds with lengths 15 feet or longer.

Delivery Details: This product ships directly from Lifetime Products in Clearfield, UT. Delivery of this product is via a curbside delivery through an LTL carrier (too big for UPS and FedEx). The customer must be present to sign for the order. The freight carrier is instructed to contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment. The carrier will unload the product by means of a lift gate. In some cases items may be too large to fit on the lift gate and may require assistance from the customer helping unload box-by-box (takes only a few minutes).
Signing for the Package: When signing for the delivery it is important to note any damage. Damage is extremely rare. We package these to travel both domestically and internationally. However, sometimes the packaging may be slightly damaged, but you may not be sure whether something inside is damaged. In such a case it is a good idea to sign for it and have the driver note it as such. You can still accept delivery. Call or email us with any questions.

A: It would, but it will not be manufactured through 2022 due to supply shortages.

Q: Is it possible to add two extensions, one to the left and one to the right of the shed to make it 20 x 8 such that the add-on windows would be on the same side of a one door, long side, model?

A: It is possible to add the extension kits to an existing lifetime shed. However, these are out of stock for around six months or so at the time of this posting (9/6/2021 8:25:02 AM).

Q: Can "Lifetime Shed 0111 2-Piece 24-in Shutters for 8' & 11' Storage Sheds" fit on the extension or is it not wide enough?

A: Yes, The two decorative 24" shutters are designed for Lifetime 8 ft., 11 ft., and 15 ft. wide storage buildings. They should fit onto the extension as well, as the extension should have the same specs as the other sections of your shed.

Q: Does this extension kit have a back wall?

A: The extension kit is designed to extend an existing storage shed. The existing storage shed has its own wall already so this simply widens the overall width of the shed. That is, it is not included back wall. You use the existing wall that was included with the storage shed already. Feel free to contact us with any other questions.
