Q: I am an adult female who weighs about 122 lbs., which is under the 130 lb. Weight limit. Would I be able to use this?

Asked by: Lisa - 8/2/2026

A: Yes, at 122 lbs, you are within the kayak’s 130 lb weight limit. However, please keep in mind that youth kayaks are specifically designed for younger paddlers. Even though you meet the weight requirement, comfort will depend on your height, leg length, and how spacious you prefer the seat to feel. A youth kayak might feel a bit tight for an adult, even a smaller one. If you're looking for a more comfortable option, we also carry a full range of adult-sized kayaks.

Q: What are the differences besides the colors between this and the other ones that are the same such as lime, orange, and blue?

Asked by: Customer - 12/10/2015

A: There is absolutely no difference whatsoever if you are looking at the same kayak. There is one exception and that is a yellow kayak that includes a backrest and that is a little bit more expensive. But, if you are looking at the youth kayaks and they are simply different colors and they do not include backrests, then there are no differences at all.
