Super Deluxe Kodiak Canvas Tent VX Series 10x10 + Tarp Local Utah Customers Only

I have purchased two of these Kodiak tents for myself. A 10 X 14 and a 10 X 10. Both were in the Deluxe vx model. both of them have been fantastic to work with. I have been using this tent for about 14 years now. I would not purchase any other tent does not have the side windows. Having the air flow whether its morning or afternoon. I love having the flow of air in the tent. It really keeps it cool and fresh. As far as the size. the 10X14 is great for the room but I find it can be very hard to find a spot large enough to place the tent. Most tent sites are set up with space for a 10 X 10 but not a 10 X 14. If you have the open space I would go with the 10 X 14. If you see limited space where you will be camping get the 10 X 10 or go smaller. The canvas material is durable and water proof as far as I have experienced. I have been camping in the worst of weather and this tent has been perfect. I have been very carful to make sure it is never stored with any amount of moisture in it and every time I open the and set it up it has had a fresh pleasant smell. I have a friend that has a canvas tent that has not been taken care of well and it stinks so bad I would rather sleep outside in the snow. The floor of the tent is super durable and fully waterproof. I'm not sure how thick it is but its far thicker than even a heavy duty tarp. I aways place a tarp under the tent when I set it up because I like keeping the tent clean. I would recommend getting the tarp they provide for the tent size because it has the stake loops in the right place and the tarp is the right size for the tent. I see many people put a tarp down that is bigger than the tent. This is not the right way to do it. GET the tarp they provide for the tent size you order. Overall I have loved this tent and will probably have it for many more years to come.

We purchased this tent a couple weeks ago. Went to a local park to do a dry run setting up the tent . having watched a video on it we set it up in about 10 min , such a pleasure for this big roomy tent. cant wait for our next camping trip. Great quality of materials, if you are on the fence about the price for product just do it you wont be disappointed.

My family camps often, my wife and I have a son and daughter. We have used our Kodiak Canvas Cabin Tent for most trips, and it's a great tent. But I swear I will only use this tent for trips under 10 days from now on! You could even stay longer if there were less people / more storage room. We all fit very comfortably in the 10×10, plenty of room. The gear loft is a really great bonus! Kodiak never disappoints when it goes to organization and storage though. I hands down set this up in less than 10 minutes my very first time, and by myself. My wife was very pleased she didn't have to help! Ha ha

Bought this tent for the F1 U S G P in Austin, TX. Man, what a great buy, cold and rain the first day clear and cold the next four. Stayed totally dry and with a small heater. . . warm! Awesome tent quick easy setup and tear down. If your looking for a all weather camp tent buy it you won't be disappointed.

Used it every weekend since we got it and it has kept us warm and dry my wife has her Kodiak canvas sleeping bag and top quilt she doesn't freeze a bit even the dog loves it.

I LOVE IT!!! The insulation factor of canvas is wonderful. The fabric feels soft and thick. The floor is a thick rubber. The zippers are hefty. The set up is so-able for me (a middle age woman) take down and pack up is easy. Dont be discouraged by the weight listing. Just dont carry the piles with the tent. The storage bags design is unique. No mashing and squishing. The vestibule is a must!! Offering privacy wind and rain protection as well as additional place for gear. WOW cant wait to use it again!!

This is a shelter, not a tent. The floor is tough and will hold up without question. Canvas is such a different experience, definitely worth trying. Zippers, seams, toggles, metal tie does are all spot on. As far as quality it is well build with great materials. If anyone is on the fence, I would recommend.

This tent is well constructed and very high quality. I bought the vestibule with it and it is the perfect set up. I used it for three weeks straight the first time out. We experienced some heavy wind and hard rains. Not one issue with it.
