The Goalrilla B4002W Basketball System features a 5.5 inch square, 1-piece steel pole. A one-piece pole is ideal for system stability while players play aggressively around the rim and backboard. The steel parts of the system are powder coated to help resist rusting. Zinc hardware is also standard on this, and all other, Goalrilla Basketball Hoop. The Zinc hardware takes on the oxidation effects of metal being exposed to oxygen, thus prolonging the life of the steel even further. The 60 inch glass backboard on this system measure 10 mm thick and is tempered to avoid shattering.
