Belmont 12 Wide Best Barns Wood Shed

With it's second floor loft and 4'-6" headroom there's enough space for a sleeping area The first floor, with its high side walls, has plenty of room to add shelving for even more versatile storage. The siding has vertical grooves that give an attractive plank look. They are primed so you can paint them the color of your choice (latex acrylic paint recommended). The siding is treated and prevents fungal decay and insect damage. It is manufactured with wood strands that are pressed into a resin-saturated substrate making it superior to plywood. The Best Barn wood shed kit components fit easily into place with no special tools or skills required. For extra strength to the trusses, metal hurricane truss hangers are provided to secure trusses to the exterior walls. OPTIONAL FLOOR: The Standard kit includes no floor, allowing you to make a floor however you see fit. You are welcome to use concrete slabs, 2 x 4's and plywood, or however you see fit.
If you prefer to set your foundation directly on grass, or would like to have a pre built floor, than the deluxe floor kit would be floor for you. It includes 4x4 treated runners and give support to the floor joists. Raising the foundation above the ground the 4 x 4's allow air to flow an eliminate moisture. This kit includes 4x4 treated runners, treated 2 x 4's 16" o.c. and 3/4" plywood. All nails are included The floor does require cutting and assembly and floor sheathing is not treated.

- Please note that these shipments are too large for FedEx and ups and require freight delivery on a semi-truck. The freight company will call you to set up a delivery. Someone will need to be home to sign for it. The freight company will unload it for you curbside.
Difference between the Arlington and Belmont Sheds
Our Arlington and Belmont shed kits provide the perfect building for storing your children's equipment, as well as big-kid toys. Your backyard use is limited only by your imagination. Let us help get you started. Both models offer a large loft area 8' wide running the length of the building. With its 4'-3" headroom there is plenty of space for storage or even a sleeping area. The Belmont includes wood pocket doors. The Arlington includes 2 (two) dormers with sunburst windows, 2 (two) 18"x36" windows with raised panel shutters, 1 (one) sunburst gable window and a 32"x80" nine lite door and wood pocket doors. Additional windows can be added for light and ventilation.
Siding
The 3/8" siding is made from wood strands, pressed into a resin-saturated substrate, superior to plywood. A cedar texture is embossed into the substrate, free from knot holes and patches. It comes primed and ready for the paint color of your choice. Latex acrylic paint is recommended. It has been treated with Composibor preventing fungal decay and insect damage. The siding is backed with a 50-year limited warranty.
Windows
Optional Windows: Single-hung aluminum 18x27 windows provide light and ventilation. The lockable frames are durable and easy to operate. Screens limit insects, birds, leaves, etc. Window includes raised panel vinyl shutters ready to paint.
