The Camp Reynolds 16' Best Barn Wood Shed Kit
Featuring two floors of open space the Camp Reynolds DIY kit gives you plenty of room to use as a workshop or a large amount of storage. This model is available in 16ft. x 28ft. and 16ft. x 32ft. sizes. Each size includes a 20ft. long dormer on one side of the gambrel roof. The Camp Reynolds is not a pole building and is built with 2×4 framing spaced 16in. o.c. wall studs. Because this is a Do-it-Yourself storage building you may choose to locate doors and windows in the locations of your choosing. The included detailed installation manual provides instructions for the placement of windows and doors as shown.
Four insulated windows with shutters are included. The dormer windows measure 28in. x 38in. The lower wall windows are 36in. x 36in. Shutters can be painted the color of your choice. The included staircase can be installed in any of the 4 corners to suit your needs. A single 36in. wide 9-Lite 32"x80" man door is the main entry to the first floor.
Wall construction is 2x4s spaced 16in. o.c. and include pressure-treated bottom plates. Trusses are 2×6 spaced 24in. o.c. The building can be constructed on a foundation that meets your requirements. This can be a cement slab, over a basement, wood floor, post and beam, etc. Homeowner purchases material to build floor and foundation separately. Check with your local building code requirements to determine what is permissible.
The siding is primed and ready to paint the color scheme of your choice. Paint purchases separately. Shingles or metal roofing is not included.
If desired additional windows and doors can be installed during construction. The gable ends are designed to accommodate a single window at either end up to 44in. x 47in. Purchase these separately from a local home center. Additional framing lumber may need to be purchased to rough in openings for doors and windows not included in the kit.

Hardware

Staircase
Our custom staircase can be installed along in either corner of the back wall opposite the doors. The upper landing is centered to the roof peak so as to provide maximum headroom when ascending the stairs.
Windows
(4) Four single-hung insulated windows with screens & raised panel shutters are included. The dormer windows are 28in. x 38in. and the lower windows are 36in. x 36in. Shutters can be painted to the color of your choice (paint not included).

Construction
Our factory model required 2-4 people over a period of approximately 10 days to construct. Time to build depends on skill, the number of people helping, and effort toward completion. Take into consideration any modifications such as adding additional windows and doors or finishing the interior as these will require more time to complete.

The customer must be present to sign for the order. The freight carrier is instructed to contact you prior to delivery to set up a delivery appointment. Signing for the Package: When signing for the delivery it is important to note any damage. Damage is extremely rare. The products are packaged to travel both domestically and internationally. However, sometimes the packaging may be slightly damaged, but you may not be sure whether something inside is damaged. In such a case it is a good idea to sign for it and have the driver note it as such. You can still accept delivery. Call or email us with any questions. Our shed kits are made with high quality material and are inspected individually before shipping out. Damaged and defective items are extremely rare. If you receive something damaged or defective please let us know and we will get you taken care of quickly and at no additional cost. Our job is to make sure you get exactly what you paid for and in a timely fashion.
Please note that if the pallet has damage it should be noted with the driver. The driver will have you sign for the order and if you notice any damage we recommend noting that with the driver. That helps to ensure that we can send you a replacement and that we can file a claim with the freight company. Note, you do not have to do any paperwork or file any claims if something is damaged. We make it as simple as possible, but it is required to note any damage with the driver on the paperwork when you sign for the delivery. If you have any questions we are here to help so please ask.
Buyers remorse - please note that these are very heavy items and we pay a sizable amount in shipping and handling to get these to you (shipping is free to you). Please check with your local city and county office buildings to ensure that you are able to put in a storage shed. Please check with your local HOA as well. If you decide to return the storage shed for these reasons please keep in mind there is a 15% restocking fee and the freight incurred to get it too and from is not refunded. Again, if anything is damaged or defective we send out the parts at no additional cost.
