Lifetime Table Size Update
Posted by Administrator on 9/19/2011 to
Competitive Edge Product Reviews
The blow-molding process is not the same as constructing something from wood or metal. Blow molding has a bit of size variance from the time of production to the time of packaging. This variance can be upwards of 3% in some cases. Lifetime had previously indicated the 2960 and 2968 Lifetime round tables as 48-inch diameter round tables. After careful remeasuring, they have now updated this size to 46-inches. They are still the same model as always, with the same material of a construction, same weight capacity, and same features. Lifetime has simply determined that their mold for the table, after the blow-molding process has settled, produces a table top closer to 46-inches instead of 48.

Lifetime Raised Garden Bed Planter Boxes
Posted by Administrator on 8/18/2011 to
Competitive Edge Product Reviews
Lifetime garden boxes are a innovative new product from Lifetime Products. I recently purchased 2 of these boxes for our backyard garden. Last year we started what is commonly called square-foot gardening. The idea behind this gardening technique is that traditional gardening wastes upwards of 75% of available space for both walking space and spacing between plants. Square-foot gardening turns this idea upside down by eliminating the need for spacing between plants and rows. This is done through growing the plants up instead of out and concentrating the plants into a small area, such as a 4x4 area. By so doing, you utilize upwards of 85% of your available gardening space.

For almost all models of Lifetime table and Lifetime chair, Lifetime offers different packaging configurations. For tables, those typically consist of single pack, a 4 pack, and a pallet load of the particular models. Pallet load quantities vary per model, but typically range in size from 10 pieces per pallet to 22 pieces per pallet. Due to the nature of online shopping and shipping costs for small packages, Lifetime Products does not offer a single pack of their chair models.

National Public Seating BT-Series Round Folding Tables and Seminar Tables Update

Store News & Events
What we heard from customers is that the colors of the National Public Seating (NPS) round tables did not match the white granite from Lifetime Products. Because we only heard about this issue on the rarest of occasions, we figured that the coloration differences were because of different building specifications from either manufacturer. We finally heard one last complaint about this issue and contacted NPS about the problem. The customer that had received the tables said the packaging actually said Gray on the box.

Lifetime Tables And Chairs Create Ideal Wedding Seating
Posted by Administrator on 8/5/2010 to
Competitive Edge Product Reviews
Many traditional designs of folding tables and folding chairs created a very cumbersome project for setup and take down. The problems with these previous versions of tables and chairs is that the material was not well suited for transportation and frequent set up and take down. These folding tables used heavy particle board or wood table tops. The steel used on the frame of the tables and chairs was also not prepared to withstand the abuses of outside use. Lifetime tables and chairs created a great alternative for the traditional folding table and chair design. Using a blow-molded plastic table top for their tables, and plastic for their seats and backs on their folding chairs, Lifetime has eliminated these previous problems.
NPS vs Flash Furniture Folding Seminar Tables

I just had a customer call a moment ago saying that they found a cheaper seminar table online at a competitor's site and wanted to know if I knew anything of the quality. The model is question was model DAD-YCZ-180-GW-GG. The customer was comparing it to our Bt1872 folding seminar table. On the surface, everything looks to be about the same for about $30 cheaper. However, a closer examination showed some key differences that future customers ought to consider.

How my OFM Office chair turned out...
Posted by Administrator on 6/11/2010 to
OFM has some of the best chairs I've ever sat in. The one I currently have is a fabric seat with an adjustable-height and back. Previously, I used the Seatability chair, which uses bungee bands to support the body. At first, I thought this is a pretty novel idea; but now, I recognized my back was needing much better support then I was getting with the Seatability chair.
